Lan je steam fish is already famous among the fish lovers and thanks to livingsocial that I finally get to try this at a cheaper rate.

A not to be missed Thai coconut.

We've ordered 2 fishes (talapia fish that ranges from Rm15-18 each), one with normal level of spiciness, another extra spicy so we get to try different sauces.
I prefer the normal one as I can still taste the fish instead of spiciness alone. Though of Talapa type, this fish didn't have muddy taste.

Minced meat tofu that exceeded our expectation of those chilled cubic white tofu with minced meat. Very nice indeed.

Simple and nice fried vege with garlic.

Great execution of prawn omelette.

Another affordable alternative for those who seek to have home-cooked food.

Recommended Dish(es):  steamed talapia fish

At Tanjung Sepat, seafood is a must!

This popular Ocen Seafood Restaurant located just right next to Lover's Bridge.

We didn't know what to order at first, so we peek into other's table and found these few dishes are in high demand.

Sizzling Oyster Omelette

"Seafood Taufu Claypot" : Crabmeat, Taufu and Mushroom
A must try! Love this!

"Fried Crispy Sotong"
Good one.

"Salted Egg Crab"
Fresh seafood.

"Steam Pomfret"
The best pomfret I've ever had!
It was so fresh and well cooked!

"Clam in Chinese Wine"
Very spicy with chili padi.

As always, we queue up for our turn to order food, then pay at the cashier and look up for available seats.
Absolutely self-service.

Chicken Breast with Vegetable Pasta
Chicken breast marinated in BBQ spices, served with a creamy vegetable pasta.
Looks delicious, right? only cost RM12.50.
Well, the fact is, I do not favour the BBQ spices.

Poached Salmon
Poached salmon with broccoli and potato.
A very healthy yet tasty meal.Only for RM12.50.

Swedish Meatballs with Fries (5 pcs-kids meal)
Swedish beef meatballs come with fries and served with gravy and lingonberry jam.
Choose between 5 pcs(kids meal), 10 pcs, 15 pcs and 20 pcs.
I usually do not fond of beef, but this is a must try and their signature dish!

Other than food, their softdrink is refillable for RM1.50.
Coffee is also refillable at RM2.
Even Spritzer mineral water cost only RM1 each!

Recommended Dish(es):  meatballs

Another visit to Shin Kee but this time without the yellow noodle but kuey teow as they're already sold out. Be there early as I've seen some cases where only mee hoon is left. They do serve innards but i'm no fan of spare parts so I opted for beef balls instead. their beef balls are very bouncy and chewy. their beef sliced meat is another recommendation too, being cooked just nice.

Kirishima was no strange to me as i have dined with my colleagues here for a few times during lunch. I've order this salmon set for the first time and immediately felt impressed with its simple, non-extravaganza presentation. No excessive seasoning here, just simple grilled fish as what I conjured would be prepared by Japanese mama to her kids.
