Haven't visited this place for ages, so came here for old times sake. Dinner for 3, we had
1. Charsiu - very fat though taste just as yummy
2. Salted Egg fried prawns - chef used breadcrumbs mixed with salty egg yolk, maybe to save cost, dish tasteless, bland
3. chinese spinash in supreme soup, a-okay
4. Sharkfin soup with crabmeat - too busy removing crab shell and bones from my mouth to enjoy the soup
5. Claypot ginger chix in wine - more like chix in ginger and oyster sauce with maybe 2 whole bottles of oil

The cups? Tea stain on cups can be so very off putting. For the price paid, I was expecting clean cups

Insect inside fried wanton Cry Jul 12, 2014

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

Ordered fried rice, fried wanton, crispy fried meehon, char-siew wanton noodles and fried kuey-teow

When the fried wanton arrived, we noticed something black with legs inside a wanton, wrapped between the frills.

Show to the waitress, the reply was, "so you want or you don't want?"  and took the wanton away (should have taken a photo as proof if I have known this is the kind of reply)

Anyway, after our meal, I mentioned the insect to this lady, that the kitchen should be more careful in future, the moment I turn to walk, this waitress said to the cashier, "what's so big deal about an insect? Then don't come"

The food there?

Fried rice  7 (10 full marks)
Fried wanton 6/10
Crispy fried meehoon 8/10
char-siew wanton noodles 5/10
Fried kuey-teow 7/10

Ah, must mentiion, the pickled green chilli is 9/10
