The cream of wild mushroom Soup OK Aug 03, 2013

The Cream of wild mushroom soup. This soup was not dilute, however, it was smooth and creamy in texture. There were lots of mushroom pieces in the soup.
Besides that, I have ordered garlic bread to go with the soup. The garlic bread were very aromatic when served. It was very crispy and the amount of garlic spread applied was quite generous. Overall, this dish was ok.

This restaurant does not have menu, quite difficult for my mom and me to decide what to order. Since it was our breakfast we decided to order an individual meal.

I ordered fried mee. The mee was cooked with mushroom, white fungus and some vegetables. The white fungus was crunchy.

My mom had fried kuey teow with bittergourd. The bittergourd was not bitter.
Both dish were delicious and have "wok hei". I will definitely dine in again.

This open-air restaurant operates more than 10 years in Bandar Baru Klang. They served western food as well as local food like fried hokkien mee, fried meehoon etc. Usually I prefer their western food. Their grilled chicken can be served with two(2) types of sauce.

Grilled chicken with herb butter & escargot sauce. The boneless chicken was tender and lightly charred. The sauce was delicious. and the coleslaw was fresh and crunchy.

Braised superior fin soup. This individual pot of shark's fin soup served a generous amount of shark's fin. The shark's fin was crunchy and chewy. The clear soup was not salty and not starchy. The soup and fins were well braised.

Braised abalone with mushroom and vegetable. One person managed to get half the palm size of abalone. The abalone was fresh and juicy. the fishy taste was still acceptable The stew enhanced the flavor of this dish.

Economic Mee Hoon OK Oct 24, 2012   (Related Review)

Kwong Si food court offers economic rice and stir fried noodles in the afternoon. However in the morning they sell economic noodles. I took away economic fried mee hoon with an egg. The fried mee hoon was very ordinary. It was not salty and oily. Better if you eat it with chilli sauce. The egg was okay. Overall, the fried mee hoon was okay and the portion was quite big.
