Vietnamese Style Spare Ribs  OK Sep 16, 2013

Vietnamese style Spare Ribs. It comes with fried egg, steamed veggie, raw tomato, cucumber and spare ribs. The veggie was fresh but tasteless. The texture of the spare ribs was tender and the amount served was quite generous.
The sauce has strong lemongrass taste, for those who does not like the taste, better don't order this dish. Overall, this dish was okay. This set comes with ABC soup which cost me RM8.90.

I have been hearing this restaurant serves delicious pork burgers. My friend and I decided to give it a try. We ordered Mamma Wallop Set, which comes with fries and a drink. I exchanged the soft drink with hot tea, no surcharge fees unlike other fast food restaurant.
The burger comes in single pork patty, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. The bun was soft. The pork patty was juicy and delicious. The veggie was fresh. This set cost RM13.90.

Mango carnival OK Aug 26, 2013

Hui Lau Shan is newly opened in Tropicana City Mall. The area was not spacious, which makes it not very comfortable. My friend and I ordered mango carnival to share since we just had our dinner. You can choose 3 types of dessert for this mango carnival. We chose mango pancake, mini chocolate crisp and mango chewy ball. Mango pancake was not to my liking because the mango purée and cream were not cold. The mini chocolate crisp was quite special, the texture taste like ice cream but it was chocolate cream. Mango chewy balls was their signature dessert, the mango purée was fragrant.

The delicious club sandwich. The sandwich filled with grilled chicken, pesto, turkey bacon, egg and tomato on toasted brioche. The bread was crispy and fragrant. This dish comes with chopped salad and potato wedges. The salad was delicious, it consists mainly pumpkin seed, chopped tomato, cucumber, raisin and vegetables. The potato wedges were crispy and nice. Thumps up for this dish. It costs RM 26.90.

Hainanese chicken chop. It was served with tomato sauce for you to douse on the chicken. The portion was big. It came with two chicken fillet that were coated with eggs. The outside was crispy and fragrant and the inside "chicken meat" was tender and juicy. Underneath the chicken were vegetables, they were crunchy and fresh. The tomato sauce was just nice. This dish costs RM24.90.
