Choong Kee Kampar claypot chicken rice besides selling delicious claypot chicken rice, they also sell nice Chinese soup. This main ingredient for this soup consists of chinese dry cabbage, red dates, and pork ribs. The soup is quite clear and nit oily. the pork meat was very tender. The amount of chinese dry cabbage and pork meat given were very generous. This dish cost Rm6.50.

Pork bone broth noodle with belly. When this dish was served, the soup was covered the ingredients. It consists of mushroom, pork belly, handmade noodles. The soup base was not salty and it was tasty. The texture of the handmade noodles was smooth and tender. The pork belly was very tender and fragrant. The portion for this dish was kinda small. This dish cost RM10.50++.

Claypot chicken rice Smile Sep 30, 2013

I have been eating this claypot chicken rice ever since I was standard 6. I ordered a big size claypot chicken rice with additional Chinese sausage and salted fish. It does not take very long for the food to be served.

The claypot chicken rice was very tasty and fragrant. The chicken was very tender and delicious. The amount of salted fish and chinese sausage were generous. The burnt rice sticked below the claypot was so crispy and fragrant.

Normal claypot chicken rice (big) cost RM16.00. Additional chinese sausage cost RM1.00 and additional salted fish is RM1.00.

Fried spaghetti with pork fillet. This dish consists of mixed vegetables, big onions, pork fillets and spaghetti. The spaghetti was not mushy and was perfectly cooked. The texture of the pork fillet was tender and it was delicious. The portion served was just nice for me. The mixed vegetables served were not generous, they should improve on it. This dish cost RM10.90++.

Fried rice with salted fish. I ordered this dish because I was very curious about how they turn vegetarian ingredient into salted fish. This dish consists of mixed vegetables, salted fish and vagetarian meat. The fried rice has slight "wok hei". The darker colour cube in the picture is the salted fish, it was not that salty. The lighter brown cube was vegetarian ham, it really taste like ham. mad Overall this dish is yummylicious. This dish cost RM7.80.
