Udon Soup
Kagawa Prefecture is well known for its' wheat noodles (Sanuki Udon) and Taman Desa is also famous for Sanuki Udon too. A lot of locals staying around the area talks about it and I was curious to see what's the fuss. So my girlfriend and I went to this hidden gem located in a quiet neighbourhood shoplot in Taman Bukit Desa.
Udon with Egg
Kakiage
It was packed by people during lunch hours. When we got our seats, we order Udon with Egg, Udon Soup, Kakiage and Karaage (Chicken). The texture of the udon is thick but smooth. The kakiage is fried to crisp and it tastes really good when dipped into mayonnaise mixed together with wasabi. Yes, you heard that right!
Chicken Kaarage
The chicken karaage was juicy, crispy and meaty. Regretted we have no chance to try on the shiitake yakitori, momo (leg meat) yakitori, kawa (skin) yakitori and a few others. It is only available in the evening after 6pm. Surely I will go back again for the yakitori's. Did I mention that the green tea only cost RM1 and it can be refill?
