Paella OK Dec 31, 2013

Paella here is wet, salty, and mildly spicy. Chicken was tender and flavourful. However, I find that there's something lacking about the flavours, which I could not put my finger on. Quite expensive for what is basically fried rice, but an interesting experience.

Cheap mamak OK Dec 31, 2013

Categories : Malay | Restaurant | Noodles

On my carbless day, I always go to Bestari for a quick protein and vege fix. It is cheap compared to many other food around. The only downside is the chicken is a little too dry and tough. The bittergourd was too bitter to my liking. Other than that, the texture and flavor was decent.

Pork noodles Smile Dec 31, 2013

Pork noodles here are okay. The hor fun is silky smooth and salty with the dry sauce, which is flavoured with sesame oil. The egg is soft and swimming in the soup; and the meat balls are abundant and bouncy. Plenty of minced pork and sliced pork for a filling meal.

Nasi kerabu Smile Dec 31, 2013

Nasi kerabu here is pretty awesome. Kerabu is pretty much raw salad, which is crunchy and fragrant. Chicken is coconutty, sweet, and tender. The stuffed chilli is interesting, much like yong tau fu but the taste is a bit different - it has more aroma.

Immunity Juice Smile Dec 31, 2013

Immunity was what I needed exactly as I was about to fall sick. I like Boost Juice because it is pure and no added sugar. Plus they have booster to add into it. You can even purchase 3 pack boosters for RM2. Due to miscommunication, I got a kid size instead of original sad
