Penang lobak Smile Dec 31, 2013

Lobak here is quite okay. The meat rolls are mildly spicy, juicy, chunky and fatty. You can really taste the richness of pork in every bite. The fuzhok is crispy but quite oily. The tofu is hot, juicy, and slightly crispy on the outside. Recommended.

OH platter! Smile Dec 31, 2013

Chicken wings here were one of the good things to try. This platter is good for sharing, with the varieties. Marinated well, the flavor was enjoyable. On the left was chicken tenders. I was surprised at the temperature served, i.e. Hot Hot Hot!. Also, the batter was crispy, the meat was super tender and juicy. Oh, you must try them!

Banjir Curry Smile Dec 31, 2013

Curry, curry, and curry! Oh, that rasam too. Whenever I come here, I usually have my dishes without rice (I am on carbless diet). They have different varieties of curry for you to choose from. Their meat dishes are usually good, i.e. tender, flavorful and spiceful! I also like their cauliflowers for that mushiness yet healthy.

Spending per head: Approximately RM8

Roti tissue Smile Dec 31, 2013

Roti tissue is basically roti canai that is spread thinly, and coated with sugar, and then pan-friend to crispiness. It tastes more like a dessert than a main. It is very thin, very crispy, and sweet. It lacks much other flavour, but is satisfying on its own nonetheless.

Rava thosai Smile Dec 31, 2013

The rava thosai here is pretty good. Crispy on the edge, sourish, and a little fluffy in the center. It's full of onions and other vegetables. The size is pretty big, and it's quite filling . The chutney is fresh and coconutty and goes well with the thosai.
