Off the plates Smile Dec 31, 2013

Beancurd filled with tuna mayonaise was not a bad choice after all. The sushi was very moistened, very much attributable to the mayonnaise.

This hand roll with tuna belly was quite an enjoyable treat, except that I found a piece of fish scale stuck at my teeth at the last bite. Drizzled some soy sauce with wasabi was the best way to eat this!

Ais kacang! Smile Dec 31, 2013
Categories : Stall / Warung

The ais kacang here is really huge! Evaporated milk, rose syrup, gula melaka, cendol, nata de coco, jelly, peanuts, red bean, and sweet corn. The mixed is a refreshingly complex combination of different types of sweetness, and different textures.

Roti Jala with Curry Chicken Smile Dec 31, 2013

Roti jala, good for tea timers like me as I wanted something not too light, considering I did not have lunch. The texture of roti jala was perfect, i.e. not too tough and easy to tear apart. The curry was fragrant and thick, which I love best. However too little gravy for me to banjir my jala with. Chicken chunks were found to be pretty tender.

Orange Juice Smile Dec 31, 2013

While waiting for a friend to meet me, I ordered a glass of orange juice, specifically ordered to be less ice and less sugar. The order was made to my specification. In fact, I thought they do really serve orange juice without sugar. RM10.9 for this before tax.

Lei Cha + Pan Mee Cry Dec 31, 2013

It must be a creative invention, or so I thought. Being a fan of pan mee, this was not really my cup of tea. I like my pan mee to be pan mee, with ikan bilis etc. That aside, the texture of pan mee was smooth. Lei cha soup was boring, maybe just because it was pan mee.
