Dr. Cafe is one of the few coffee places from back before the "Cambrian explosion" of coffee places in KL, though they've always been shadowed by the bigger players.

The foam was virtually non-existent; and though the coffee was strong, it was coarse and harsh.

And it's no-carb day again! This time, dinner is tandoori chicken. The beauty of tandoori chicken is, you can almost never gone wrong. But this is my lucky day! This tandoori is not nice. Haha.

Basically it's very dry, not aromatic, and charred. Mint sauce was alright - thick and strong tasting. I wasn't full after having this, due to it tasting unsatisfactory.

Okay, Maggi cravings are really not good for me. Not just because Maggi goreng is so unhealthy and fattening, but because of the high incidence rate of getting sub-par quality Maggi goreng.

This one was mostly just salty, and had no other flavour. Very flat. There's also almost no ingredients except some onions and a bit of chilli, but it was not spicy at all. Couldn't finish it

This place looks like a fast food joint, but the food looks like street food, so it's quite confusing; and the name seems to priding on their offerings of chicken.

Sadly, the chicken is not even close to being delicious. First of all the price is steep for a tiny portion, and it's very, very dry. Further to that, it's not even warm. And there's no gravy also. Really dry.

It was one of those days, when the mood struck to try something new. Being in Brickfields, "something new" almost always meant "a different place for Indian food". I love Indian food, so that's no a problem.

So far so good, the vegetables were rich and flavoursome, and the curries were thick and spicy. My major complaint is in the fact that they charged a lot - I think they charged for seconds of vegetables (not typical of banana leaf rice places) and my little bit of meat was RM6. Almost RM20 for this meal. Will never return again.
