Teppanyucky Cry Dec 25, 2013

I had this on the very first night they opened. Service was terrible, even on the opening night. I was sitting there, with another group of people - it was not crowded at all, and nobody bothered to serve me or even hand me a menu. I was literally sitting right across the frying station, where there were at least 4 staff include waiters and chefs.

Ended up with pretty tough slices of beef, though the vegetables were aromatic and tasty.

Nyonya laksa Cry Dec 24, 2013

I must say, I was definitely expecting more of the "famous" Baba Low's nyonya laksa. The gravy was watery, lacked a punch, and was overall pretty weak and bland. The ingredients were very few and mostly just store-bought fish cakes. A huge let-down.

Fu-- jitas Cry Dec 24, 2013

I remember once upon a time, having really good fajitas at Chili's. Somewhere along the way from those many years ago to present day, something went wrong. First of all, the beef was tough and dry - like, completely unchewable. Chicken was unexciting, as could be expected of chicken in general. Shrimp was not fresh, it was the frozen type.

The guacamole and condiments were decent, and thankfully the pita was soft and warm. Vegetables were nicely caramelized and soft, but the whole thing was overly sweet, almost like they added in extra sugar.

This is no sandwich! Cry Dec 24, 2013   (Related Review)

This is what they call a sandwich here:
Two slices of tomatoes, half a slice of cheese, a thin slice of ham, and a single leaf of lettuce, between a really thick bun. All you could taste was the bun, which isn't particularly flavourful at all. Furthermore, it was not even fluffy. Comes with loads of fries, though.

Grilled Chicken Chop Cry Dec 24, 2013

Chicken is something that requires the least skill to cook to acceptable levels of edibility, and the worst thing you could do to it is to undercook it - and that's exactly what was done to this chicken chop. Some parts were undercooked. Despite being tender and flavourful, it did not salvage this dish. The portion was very small too.
