Another fish item from the menu i have tried is the yaki sakana tempura set. This is also a combination set that have a grilled fish and tempura. The grilled fish here is the mackerel. I quite like the taste of the grilled mackerel over sweet sauce, the fish was meaty and firm. The mixed tempura was not bad either. The tempura were deep fried in a a light batter and served wit a light sauce.

To satisfy the craving for both sashimi and tempura, ordering the sashimi and tempura set is the perfect choice. The sashimi and tempura set consists of five pieces of salmon sashimi, mixed tempura, steamed rice and miso soup. The salmon sashimi was good but not excellent. The salmon was fresh but the cut was not very thick. The mixed tempura has prawn, sweet potato, egg plant. Miso soup was nice.

I always love ordering unagi from japanese restuarant. The unagi don has a piece of teriyaki grilled unagi over the sushi rice, serves with the miso soup. I quite like the japanese rice. The rice was short and fat, and have a nice aroma. The unagi was not bad either. Love the perfectly grilled unagi with the sweet teriyaki sauce. The sauce was slightly sticky. The miso soup has white bean curd and seaweed in it.

My vegetarian friend happily ordered the Kitsune soba for her lunch. The kitsune soba is a noodle soup. The soba is made from buckwheat noodles. I tasted the buckwheat noodle and quite like it too. The taste of the wheat was strong in the noodle. The soup was also very nice to drink. The clear soup was non oily and tasted very refreshing. There were some seaweed and the sweet bean curd in the noodle soup.

Ika curry is a rice dish that i tried once only. It is a steamed rice dish with deep fried squid serves with curry sauce and hard boiled egg. The steamed rice was nothing special. The squid was deep fried to golden brown and was very crunchy. However, the squid was very small in size. The curry sauce is very thick and unlike our local curry sauce, Sushi's King curry sauce is less spicy and less flavors.
