Delicious is a restaurant/cafe that we are sure many of you have heard and even dine in before. The interior design of their shop is really nice. When we're having our food in their restaurant, it felt so comfortable and homey. At some certain seats, they even have pillows. Makes it even more comfortable when siting The set of afternoon tea for two. But the portion they provide, it's more for two person. Their afternoon has a mixture taste of both sweet and savory. And with one set, it comes along with 2 cups of any choice of hot coffee or tea.These are two choices of cup of drinks.The first picture shows the Jasmine Green Tea an the other one is the Honey Lemon. The Afternoon Tea Set for two comes with 3 tier of different sorts of tea time food. The portion is actually for two, but can be share for 3 people. Let's look closer into those 3 plates.The first plate, a very very sweet plate. It comes with 2 sticks for strawberries with chocolate sauce dip, chocolate truffles and also a slice of any one cake on display. Their strawberries was so huge, juicy and sweet. It was perfection after dipping in the chocolate sauce. Their chocolate truffles also tated really good. For the slice of cake, you are given the choice to choose any cake that was on display that day. Some choices were, brownies, cheesecake, apple crumble pie and etc... Well, we didn't quite like their tiramisu. Their coffee layer was overly soggy and watery making the other layers watery as well. We're not so sure what the reason costed the coffee layer to be watery. One reason can be because, we ate the Tiramisu too late after it was served. Another reason because, they just made the tiramisu and it's not properly chilled enough yet.Second layer of the tier consisted of 3 warm scones with jam and pure cream and also 4 rosemary and cheese cookies. The texture of their scones were really warm and smooth. Went really well with the jam. A little sweet and salty. Their rosemary and cheese cookies in the other hand tasted a little spicy and salty.The last tier of them all are the sandwiches gang Their sandwiches consisted of 3 fillings. The cheese only, smoked salmon and lastly, the cucumber and cheese. There's another 2 round shaped sandwiches have egg mayo fillings with a little caviar on the top. Right at the far left top, that things are duck confit in filo pastry. Their sandwiches tasted really good!

The whole thing with tax costed us about RM60+. At first, we thought it was really expansive for a tea set, but then they boy was comparing the set with the prices of the al cart, it's actually very worth it! If you happen to pass by there during tea time, give them a try!

So what does the term Formosa actually mean? If you do not know this, back like centuries ago, the place we call now Taiwan is not called Taiwan. They call that place Formosa. This means, historically Taiwan was actually named Formosa by the Portuguese which actually means beautiful island. Let's look closer to the food shall we? In Formosa, it's a little different because, they have a lot of set meals. And these set meals are really affordable and convenient for students and also office workers. But for that day, we ordered a bowl of Oyster Mee Sua [RM4++]. Sorry, I forgotten the exact price of the food. The bowl of mee sua was so gooood. To top it off, the few drops of peppers and coriander and oyster, makes it all better. It was served hot and it tasted even better. I sweated so much while eating because of the goodness of this bowl. I couldn't stop eating it. They served their chili paste separately, so that's good. Because if you don't want it to be too spicy, then you can put lesser. Alter it according to your choice!I also ordered one of their sets. But I forgotten what's the name of the set. The set consisted of a really large piece of Fried Chicken, Braised Tofu and Egg and also a bowl of Steamed Rice with some preserved vegetables and some gravy on the top [RM10]. This was also so good! I saw most of their customers having the fried chicken set. Because it's really cheap and satisfying to have it for lunch! Their fried chicken was crispy from top to bottom. And it wasn't too oily. Their tofu and egg was filled with the herbs aroma. The rice and the chicken is a really good combination.

The food in Formosa is really so good, that makes me going back all the time. Many people don't know that Asian Avenue has so many stalls of good food. Please drop by their stall to make my tummies happy!

Many bloggers have blogged about this Pepper Lunch shop. Since everyone was giving such good reviews about it, I decided to give it a try. Pepper Lunch is actually a DIY [Do It Yourself] teppan restaurant where they serve all their food on a teppan plate and their customer get to cook themselves according to their desire. Pepper Lunch is a popular franchise in Tokyo, Japan itself. And as of now, they have spread their food to many parts of the world such as Australia, Singapore and our country, Malaysia.

Their menu provides a wide range of selections. Mostly, it's rice or pasta with a selection of your choice of what meat you want. They have chicken, beef, fish and seafood. No Pork, sadly hahaha. But they are actually specialize in their beef dishes which we can't try because we both don't eat beef. But for people like us, don't worry! There are other dishes we can try, which I can guarantee are equally good! This were having their Pepper Rice Fever which says that some selected dish were on discount. I decided to choose their Chicken Pepper Lunch [RM13+] with a choice of drink or soup. Their chicken pepper lunch consist of a bowl of steam rice topped with some corns and some pepper and spicy and at the side of it there are slices of chicken. A slice of delicious margarine is also hid inside the rice to give the rice more taste.

Overall, what I had was really good. It wasn't overly salty or anything. Just the right amount of seasoning! The juicy chicken slices went really well with their steam rice and steam corn. When the food is cooking, makes your saliva drip drip. Because it really smells so good. But one bad thing about Pepper Lunch, it's the price. The price is a bit on the high side. So we probably I wouldn't go there so often. Other than that, eveything is good. It's a self service kind of thing, but the people working there are really friendly!

I am a member of Juice Works and on my birthday, I had the opportunity to redeem my free drink and I chose their Cookie n Cream. I really love Juice Work's cookie n cream and got to know this drink through a friend's recommendation. This drink is made up of chocolate, oreo cookies, your choice of soya milk or low fat milk, low fat vanilla and ice cream and this drink is categorize under the power smoothies section. I love this drink because firstly I am an oreo and chocolate fan. Besides that, it is blend smoothly and also the it is not overly sweet compared to those that can be found else where. It has the right balance of sweetness and milkyness which makes this drink so special. Very recommended for those who likes oreos and chocolate like me It is yummy and also healthy because they use very healthy ingredients!

Canton-I specializes in serving authentic hong kong dishes and I love going there for their congee but that day I went their congee ran out. I was quite disappointed because it was only like 8 something at night. But then I gave their noodles a try and ordered their signature prawn wanton noodles which cost about RM10+ per bowl. The bowl consists of wanton noodles, soup and prawn wanton. Let me start with the soup, the soup tastes amazing. The flavors are so good, can't describe in words. The noodles in the other hand was so smooth. The prawn wanton tasted so good and had the right amount of seasonings Overall, a good dish!
