Salmon salad was absolutely delicious! It was smoked salmon salad with some cheese sprinkled on top. I have a thing for salmon and this is the best tasting smoked salmon I've tasted so far. The taste fills your mouth and it's not too salty. Just perfect. The leaves were fresh and crunchy while the sauce used is amazingly tasty. Although this is part of their special Valentine's menu, I ordered it once on a normal day as well even though it's not on the menu. Definitely a recommended dish!

This place is a nice place to hang out or have casual lunch. I like the environment with the music and dim lighting. Seats are also available outdoors. Service is good too but sometimes it may be hard to catch the waiter's attention because they're so busy.

I had a plate of spaghetti marinara and was pleasantly surprised at the portion. They were very generous with the amount of prawns and calamari. The prawns are really big and juicy, unlike the small ones we usually see in pastas. The sauce was perfect with real chunks of tomatoes in it.Overall, I like the place and food. Likely to return.

Never thought I would like potatoes so much! This is another favourite of mine in Backofen.

This plate of pan seared potatoes cost RM10. They are pretty generous with the potatoes which are topped with some kind of seasoning that makes it taste amazing. It's almost like potato chips except it's not chips. Potato is cooked until soft every time. The dish comes with an egg and some salad on the side.The potato also comes as a side order, without the egg and salad. The portion there is not small either.

Although this is my first time trying thick toast, I was very impressed!

At Chilla Cup, the Double Cheese Honey Thick Toast has cheese melted over thick toast then covered in honey. It was quite delicious but some may find this to be a bit too sweet. You may pair it with a less sweet drink to compliment it.The Caramel Butter Thick Toast, however, had everyone asking for more. Not only does it look good, it tastes great! Make sure you get a good portion of the cream with the crunchy toast as it's goooodd..

This dish was easily mistaken as a variety of things (I guessed oyster mushroom) but once I bit into it, I realized it was one of the best fried fish I've ever tasted! The flesh was so very soft and smooth. The sesame seeds it was fried with added some texture and crunch to it. The provided sweet sauce added some flavour but I preferred the natural taste of the fish (it was fresh too).
