As I was hanging around, waiting one day at SS15, I noticed a bubble tea shop opposite Taylor's. It was all green and white; looked pretty clean. The entrance was strangely blocked by their banner and only their 4 staffs were allowed inside the shop. There were no chairs or tables. Ordered their recommended pearl milk tea and was greatly disappointed. It barely had any tea taste and was so watery. Think the pearls were immersed for way too long as the outside was beginning to get too mushy.

Before heading to Food Foundry, we had prepared by researching online, searching for food reviews. We stumbled upon a photo of their lovely mushroom soup which seemed really thick and rich with visible minced mushrooms. Imagine our disappointment when we were served this bowl of very watery mushroom soup that was quite tasteless except for the heavy taste of pepper. After complaining, we got a new bowl which was thicker but still not satisfactory. The bread on the side which is topped with garlic and butter is average tasting.

If I am not mistaken, this is the Duck Confit Pasta. Quite a special dish, I would say. I don't always encounter a pasta dish with duck in it. Actually it looks pretty much like the Prawn and Eggplant pasta except this has duck in it. In fact, it was also quite tasteless like the other pasta. And that is not the worst part. We found the duck meat to be a little unfresh..

I have no idea why my companions keep ordering this as I have never liked it. It is basically tofu and in the center is an oyster. I constantly burn myself with this as it's so hot, especially the oyster in the middle. The crust on the tofu is hard and quite oily but the inside is soft and smooth. As if the oiliness isn't sickening enough, it is topped with thick mayonnaise. Oyster is fresh but I absolutely can't stand the oil and I scrape the mayo off.

The concept at Marche is quite unique. Once you enter, it's like a food court with many different stalls selling different cousines. You're given a paper which the stall will mark on once you have made your order. After having your fill of food, you pay at the exit. No exchange of money occurs in the eating area.Although I liked the idea and environment, the food was not satisfying. Chicken chop had an oily taste to it and the provided mushroom sauce was not good Mashed potato was very smooth and soft though.
