Hey people!! Got one question for you, if you had an ice-cream or a drink, what flavor would you like? Chocolate? Vanilla? Well, why not try out green tea flavor?? Yeap, that’s right! “GREEN TEA” you did not see any error, your eyes are perfectly well, I mentioned green tea because that’s how nice is Chatime's Green Tea Latte and it satisfies many students around, especially the girls. ;)

Normally these students will purchase their Green Tea Latte with added pearls, as they like to chew on the pearls and slowly enjoy their drink. Girls will also order especially less sugar and less ice but it all depends on the weather, if it’s raining they will then order their drink with lesser ice. However, I would recommend ordering your drink with lesser ice, basically because it wouldn’t make your drink too cold which some people might get brain-freeze, which you won’t be able to truly enjoy your Green Tea Latte. Adding pearls to your drink also would be a good idea once in a while because pearls can sometimes be very nice to chew on. The Green Tea Latte is definitely a must try choice on one of the flavors in Chatime.

There are several Chatime outlets in Subang Area and as well as Sunway Area. First of all is at ss15, which is located beside of Asia Café, or also known as “AC”; it’s on the first floor of one of the shops there, same floor as Snowflake, another shop that sells desserts. For me, if you ask me, I do not think any other bubble tea businesses could ever compare to Chatime in terms of variety, for those who visits Chatime often will know why I say so because return time you visit Chatime to buy a drink, they would always have something new to try on, or even a new combination to satisfy your cravings. The varieties of tea flavors, toppings, mixtures are always what make them special compare with other bubble tea businesses. They also has this service where you can choose the sugar and ice level for your drinks, it gives you the total control on what goes in your stomach and as well as your health. SO!! What are you waiting for, try it out! It’s called Green Tea Latte.

shockedl:

Thai Thai Madness! The sweet aroma of asam and spices just fills up your senses and gets your stomach rumbling! This restaurant is called Thai Thai located in Sunway Pyramid (my favorite hang out mall) on the ground floor. It serves one of the best Thai cuisine in the vicinity of Subang Jaya. I dont think that they have any other outlets throughout Klang Valley thought.

Moving on to the ambience of the restaurant, no doubt gives a classy elegant feeling at first, but when the fiery hot dishes spills in, talk about table manners! Dig in!! Overall it gives a pleasant dining environment, excellent customer service and friendly waiters. Personally I would rate them excellent service.

The dish that I'm going to talk about is the steam fish with Thai sauce. The fish is steamed with lemon grass, chili, herbs and spices, and it is dine together with a special made sauce which if not mistaken comprises of vinegar, lime, chili and lemon grass. The aroma of the sauce gives you a feel of the originality of Thai food and cuisine. The combination works well in bringing the taste and freshness of the fish to live. The lemon grass gives the dish a little twist, whereas the chili spices up the tender meat. The fish is not as overcooked, it was just nice where the freshness is preserved.

Overall, the experience was pleasant, although the price is a little bit on the high side, but there goes the old saying, what you pay is what you get. And it was definitely worth the cents! The variety of the menu is what shows the skills and originality of the Thai cuisine served. I would recommend this place for people who seek good food as well as a wonderful environment. The menu is good for dinner dining as well as special occasions.

Matcha Matcha Chatime! Smile Jul 14, 2012

lol

Matcha Matcha dont you just love everything green tea?? Well I do, and thats just how satisfying Chatime's Matcha Red bean satisfies my cravings.
Normally I would get my dosage of matcha with added pearls, less sugar and less ice. The lesser ice would truly allow the Matcha flavor to pop and not polluted with extra water. Whereas the lesser sugar level would also mean that less chances of getting extra pounds. Plus the sweetness of the red beans already made up fr that loss. I like to add pearls to my drink as I enjoy having bits to chew on, while having the matcha taste linger in my mouth. Call me an addict if you may, but the Matcha Red bean is definitely one of the flavors that is a must try form chatime.

My favorite and usual Chatime outlet is always the one in Sunway Pyramid as I enjoy shopping with my favourite drink in hand, and it is always refreshing om sipping on fresh tea brewed to perfection by Chatime. For me, in my humble opinion, I do not think any other bubble tea businesses could ever compare to Chatime in terms of variety. Each time visiting Chatime for a drink, they would always have something new to try on, or even a new combination to satisfy my cravings. The variety of tea flavors, toppings, mixtures as well as brews are always what sets them apart from the other bubble tea businesses. I also do like the option of choosing the sugar and ice level for my drinks, it gives me total control on what goes in my stomach.

If I were to compare, hands down Chatime's my all time favourite. No reserve! Plus they are offering a loyalty card membership where you get to enjoy your favorite drinks and collecting points at the same time! How cool and rewarding is that!

Sage Simplicity Smile Jul 14, 2012

Hey all, I had the privilege to drop by Sage KL a while back ago! For start, just look at the size of those big juicy shrimps!! My first visit to the Sage restaurant and wine bar in Gardens Mid Valley was tastefully rewarding!
I literally had food orgasm and it struck my head as I took every little bite of the gorgeous looking food. If you were ever around the vicinity of mid valley city, do drop by and it would certainly make the rest of your day smiling.

The ambience of the restaurant has the elegance that not only burst in your taste buds but as well as matches the whole dining experience. The menu served is as if food is a form of expression of art, a combination of the finest ingredients producing the perfect match of mouth-watering cuisine. lol

The meal I had was the set lunch meal, which comprises of a 3-course set. The noodles was springy and chewy in the mouth, compliment by the sauce, which brings out the sweetness of the shrimps. The sauce if I’m not wrong comprises of a light soy sauce taste, bringing out the aroma of the dish, garnished with some herbs. The whole set lunch deal cost RM100nett if not mistaken. The main course is complimented with a warm appetizer as well as a satisfying dessert to end the meal well.

Overall its not that sweet and just nice for me. All in all it was all the more satisfying and worth the cents. I would recommend this place for people who seek good food as well as a wonderful environment. It is mostly packed during peak lunch hours as well as dinner times.

As Chef Daniel quoted "Food is like a work of art. The plate is my canvas. The ingredients are my paint. The customers are my critique"

ZenQ Desserts OK Jul 08, 2012

Categories : Taiwanese | Café | Ice Cream / Froyo / Gelato

Hey peeps, I finally mustered the guts to take on ZenQ's snowflake like desserts..and it turns out to be quite promising although at first I honestly thought it would get nowhere near snowflakes. They have a few outlets all over Klang Valley, the one I went was in Sunway Pyramid, located at the First floor near the center atrium. It was always hidden at the corner where all the slimming center is at, but still it manages to caught attention of people with its lively green color label and signs!

The shop setting is mainly GREEN and with the normal everyday liked interior but the desserts served has the standards that sort of matches the standards of snowflake's desserts. They serve waffles and a wide variety of other choices as well. The grass jelly isnt overly sweet but the Taro balls are no where near of snowflake's taro. The price of the dessert is just as of the competitors, nothing makes them stand out much. The ice does taste quite good as it does not melt as fast when its eaten, always liked shaved ice lasting in my mouth. The Taro ball was nice and chewy, but still it lack its turgidness and taste. Overall its not that sweet and just nice for me.

Next up rating its services, fast and effiecient service, no long que and long waiting for the desserts to be served. One thing lacking maybe the style of service, whereas compared to snowflakes, they uses a system called beeping UFO which makes waiting for the desserts more memorable and exciting at the same time. Therefore, incorporating services such as that would greatly help boost its image.

All in all it was quite satisfying when snowflake is always in a long Que. I would recommend it as an alternative to snowflakes.
