Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun Cry Aug 03, 2013   (Related Review)

The soup looks concentrated presumably cooked with lots of chicken bones for long hours, topped with prawn oil that added reddish-orange colour to overall appearance. But to my disappointment, it did not taste well as it looked. It was rather bland, definitely could be done better with more apparent chicken consistency in the broth. On the positive side, the kuey teow noodles were smooth and well blanched to maintain QQ texture.

Pancakes and Waffles Cry Feb 22, 2013   (Related Review)

Pancakes and waffles, the typical western style item popular for breakfast. Simply can't miss having this as I love to drizzle maple syrup on the fluffy batter product. Sadly, the texture of the waffles and pancakes were below average. The waffle although was crispy but the texture was hard. I need to exert higher pressure on it using knife. On the other hand, pancakes lacked the fluffy texture it should have. A dissapointing experience on this as they should have done it well.

Nasi Goreng Ayam Cry Feb 15, 2013   (Related Review)

This is one of my favourite rice dish to order for main meals whenever I am in a mamak stall. Perfectly executed fried rice with crispy hot fried chicken, simply irresistable. Unfortunately, this is not the case here. Although the fried rice looks nice with generous finely chopped vegetable, the taste was bland. It lacked of wok hei as well. Don't expect to find large piece of fried chicken here, as I only received chopped not-so-crispy pieces of fried chicken, mostly was the skin and bones with least meat parts sad Dissapointing dish with a pricetag that was not worth it at all.

Chicken Teriyaki Udon Cry Feb 04, 2013   (Related Review)

The udon noodles lacked QQ texture. I continued to observe the strands of udon and realized the outer part has a little flour coming off, probably a little overcooked. The teriyaki chicken was dry and cold, a very dissapointing experience as Japanese retaurants should be good in making decent teriyaki chicken. My friend commented that maybe they pre-cooked the chicken earlier. The soup lacked taste as well, as we have had better ones. We thought that the unsatisfactory taste contributed a not value for money experience on this dish.

Taro Milk Tea Cry Jan 11, 2013

Initially I wanted to fix my cravings for the signature winter melon tea with milk foam, but my itchy eyes decided to look for another new drink to try mad I always love anything with taro (yam), so I decided to go for Taro Milk Tea. I requested for less ice and 50% sugar as suggested by the cashier.

I have shaken my drink, looking at the thick consistency and nice purple colour, I know it is going to be good. Unfortunately it was not the case. It was badly diluted and has very little taro taste. I regretted not sticking to my original plansad
