Wantan Mee OK Jul 29, 2012
Categories : Indian | Food court

This is another dish from a different hawker stall in Batu Lancang Market Food Court.

Wantan Mee
RM 2.50 per plate

Firstly, the plate of wantan mee comes with noodles, char siew. wantan, and vegetables.
However, the wantan mee taste is a big disappointment to me.
The taste of the wantan mee is sort of tasteless to me.
The soy sauce is kinda too watery and the aroma is not very strong as well.
The wantan is pretty good actually with the meat stuff inside is quite soft and tender.
The portion of the noodles is pretty small for a regular costs of a wantan mee in my opinion.

Laksa Cry Jul 29, 2012

Categories : Indian | Food court

This is actually my first time visit to the Batu Lancang Market Food Court.
My first impression at that place is I think that the place is very crowded with people
and cleanliness level is quite low.
There were a lot of hawker stalls operates there.
However, most of the stalls did not even suit my appetite at all.
Okay...

Okay...

Penang Assam Laksa chopstick
RM 3 per bowl

As usual, I prefer my laksa to be plain without all the vegetables.
First of all, the laksa soup is just average.
Not very spicy or sour at all, just plain ordinary.
The fish is also pretty hard to bite and I don't think its very fresh as well.
One thing that I did notice and very disappointed about is that the chopsticks and spoon
that the stall provided is not very clean.
Portion of the serving is fine, very average for the price that they charged bowl

Delicious Wan Tan Mee Smile Jul 29, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Noodles

I love to eat Wan Tan Mee at this stall.
I believe that they serve one of the best Wan Tan Mee in town.

The wan tan mee chopstick

The soup with wan tans in it chopstick

Overall, the price of the wan tan mee is quite cheap and yet the portion is pretty big as well.
I always demand for extra soy sauce so that my plate of wan tan mee will taste more aromatic.
Their mee is very soft and even their 'char siew' taste good as well.
The soup is pretty nice to, but the only thing I dislike is that their wan tan does not contains a lot
of meat inside.
Their wan tan mee sauce taste very nice and fragrance.
Overall, I would highly recommend this stall for all the wan tan mee lovers smile

Fried Cempedak OK Jul 29, 2012
Categories : Malaysian variety | Café | Noodles

This small stall that located at the outside of Ho Khoon Café sells fried food.
From fried banana to fried sweet potato and fried cempedak, their basically did sell everything fried.
Okay....

Okay....

Fried Cempedak

Wondering what is cempedak call in English?
After I do some research with Google-ing, I found out that cempedak in English is a fruit resembling
the jack fruit.
First of all, I think the cempedak that they sell is very very oily.
Price is very reasonable and can be considered cheap too.
The cempedak that they use is pretty sweet.
Overall, I find that the food they sell is pretty ordinary and you can buy it easily from any stalls
by the road side too. shocked

Drinks OK Jul 29, 2012
Categories : Stall / Warung | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

When we have our meals at outdoor, definitely everyone will order the drinks.
So am I too lol

Teh ice and Milo ice bowl

To me, the teh ice is a very ordinary drink that the taste is exactly similar to any other coffee shop.
However, the milo ice that they sell actually surprises me.
The Milo is pretty thick in my opinion which is very suitable to my liking.
The Milo taste very nice and thick and somehow a little like the chocolate milk too.
But, I actually think that the price is quite expensive which is RM 2 for just a cup of Milo.
Overall, a very good try ~! smile
