Chicken Maryland @ James Foo Smile Jul 26, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta | Steaks / Chops

As my last food review about James Foo Western Food, I do actually think they are one of the best
western food in town.
So, I make a return visit.
And of course, trying other dishes that I had never try before at there.

Chicken Maryland

As usual, very tasty and the portion of serving is very generous.
Comes with chicken maryland, hot dog, ham, french fries, fried banana, bun, tomato as you can see in above picture.
The chicken maryland is cook to crispy perfection and the meat is pretty juicy too!
Other than that, the fried banana taste very good as well as the banana that they choose is very sweet.
Overall, very delicious and no doubt, it is one of the best chicken maryland I had ever taste too!
Best of all, the price is reasonable as well!

Shark Fin Soup Smile Jul 25, 2012
Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Seafood

This shark fin soup stall sells in a lot of different locations.
I did saw them a number of times at various '' pasar malam '' during the night in Penang Island area.

RM 3 per bowl, add RM 1 if you want to add abalone tongue

The ingredients inside the bowl of shark fins are crab meat, chicken and others which I do not what's it call.
And of course, they are not the real shark fin soup, or else it won't be that cheap....~!
Anyway, I totally against people who eat real shark fins soup because there are a lot of sharks that will
be kill just to make soup using their fins eventually.
Back to this shark fin soup review, I actually think that the portion is big enough and really worth for the money.
The taste is also not bad~!
Sometimes, I think that they serve better shark fin soups than a lot of other restaurants who charge more
expensive than they do!

Bread History is a bakery shop that expands their business in cafe areas as well.

Spaghetti Bolognese

One words : YUMMY!
Just look at how many gravy that they give!
The portion of the spaghetti is also very generous that totally appropriate with their charging price.
The spaghetti taste a little sour for the gravy but totally suits with my liking xD
And also there are considered a lot of small tiny meat serve with the spaghetti too xD

Claypot Bee Tai Bak is one of the stall that located in New World Park.

RM 4.50 for one included egg tongue

Firstly, portion of the serving is simply average.
However, I will need to give credit to this stall.
To my surprise, the taste of this claypot bee tai bak is very appetizing and delicious indeed.
I have no doubt but to fall in love with this dish!
And most importantly, the price is also very reasonable and value for money due to the food
tastiness level.

* A must try for bee tai bak lovers *

Shell Laksa Smile Jul 22, 2012
Categories : Chinese | Kopitiam | Noodles

This laksa stall used to sell in front of the Farlim Shell Station few years back.
Later on, they had upgraded their stall to a coffee shop which is operating right now.

RM3.50 per bowl.

The portion of the serving is slightly average.
Besides, there are fish balls and also a big piece of boneless ''Ikan Kembung'' ( Kembung Fish ) inside the laksa.
The fragrant assam aroma can easily smell from the laksa soup which makes the laksa seem more appetizing.
The bowl of laksa will consists of slices of onions, cucumbers, lettuces, chilly, pineapples, mint leaves, torch ginger
and also not forgetting the black prawn paste.
However, as the above pictures, I prefer my laksa to my plain tongue
Last but not least, the laksa stall also sell crispy spring rolls which costs RM 1.00 for one.
