Chicken Leg Lor Mee OK Jul 30, 2012
Categories : Malaysian variety | Food court | Seafood | Noodles

I don't usually eat Lor Mee.
However, I give it a try that day.

Chicken Leg Lor Mee
RM 3 per bowl

I find that the gravy is super thick.
The portion of the noodles given is quite small.
The taste is just okay.
However, I find that the ingredients given is a little too less.
Despite that, the gravy is not that tasty as well.
Even though the gravy is very thick, however the taste is not that great.
To me, it's actually quite tasteless as well.
Overall, a okay lor mee but not a great lor mee~!

Sweet and Sour Rice OK Jul 30, 2012   (Related Review)
Categories : Chinese | Café | Noodles

This is another hawker stalls that sell variety choices of rice set meals.
The one that I am ordering is '' Sweet and Sour Rice''.

RM 5.50 per plate

To me, the price is too expensive as most of the stalls that sell set rice only costs around RM 5.
The set meal only comes with rice and chicken.
There are no eggs with the set which I find a little weird.
The portion of the chicken is quite a lot.
However, I dislike the taste of the sweet and sour gravy.
To me, the gravy is neither sour nor sweet.
Pretty much, the gravy is tasteless.
On the other hand, the chicken is perfectly fine.
Very crispy and boneless.

Categories : Indian | Food court

This is just one of the drinks stall at Batu Lancang Market Food Court.
The place actually have quite a number of stalls that sell drinks.
I guess they got separate their business into a few places depends on where the customers sit probably.
So, during my visit, I sit near that particular Kopi Stall, so they come and take my order smile

The stall chopstick
Just a small drink shop at the corner smile
=.=

=.=

Teh ice and Chrysanthemum

First of all, forget about the price but is very cheap.
The drinks is very sweet too especially the chrysanthemum.
I actually love their chrysanthemum very much because a lot of coffee shop that sells
this drink usually will put very less sugar.
Oh yeah, I knew that the lesser the sugar level, the better it is !
However, I just have a sweet tooth tongue
About the teh ice, well no comment....!
Just plain ordinary tho mad

Wantan Mee OK Jul 29, 2012
Categories : Indian | Food court

This is another dish from a different hawker stall in Batu Lancang Market Food Court.

Wantan Mee
RM 2.50 per plate

Firstly, the plate of wantan mee comes with noodles, char siew. wantan, and vegetables.
However, the wantan mee taste is a big disappointment to me.
The taste of the wantan mee is sort of tasteless to me.
The soy sauce is kinda too watery and the aroma is not very strong as well.
The wantan is pretty good actually with the meat stuff inside is quite soft and tender.
The portion of the noodles is pretty small for a regular costs of a wantan mee in my opinion.

Fried Cempedak OK Jul 29, 2012
Categories : Malaysian variety | Café | Noodles

This small stall that located at the outside of Ho Khoon Café sells fried food.
From fried banana to fried sweet potato and fried cempedak, their basically did sell everything fried.
Okay....

Okay....

Fried Cempedak

Wondering what is cempedak call in English?
After I do some research with Google-ing, I found out that cempedak in English is a fruit resembling
the jack fruit.
First of all, I think the cempedak that they sell is very very oily.
Price is very reasonable and can be considered cheap too.
The cempedak that they use is pretty sweet.
Overall, I find that the food they sell is pretty ordinary and you can buy it easily from any stalls
by the road side too. shocked
