White Tom Yam OK Aug 17, 2012
Categories : Thai | Food court | Noodles

I find it interesting because the tom yam soup is actually white in colour.
My first impression before taste the soup, I feel that the tom yam of course not spicy and does not even have
any tom yam aroma.
However, I guess I am wrong.
Yes, the tom yam is not spicy but the aroma of the tom yam still stays.

I find that the tom yam is actually sort of lacking of ingredients.
The ingredients inside is very limited and in very small quantity.
The soup is just fine but not that great.
The tom yam should be spicier because its kinda like tasteless too.
Overall, is just plain ordinary tom yam soup although its white in colour.

Hot & Spicy Noodle OK Aug 17, 2012

Again and again, I just could not resist Tom Yam.
So, order one again.
However, I quite disappointed because they do not have instant noodles which I prefer the most.
So, I just choose my tom yam with yee mee.

RM 6.80

First of all, it's very very spicy.
Too many chilly oil too.
There are not many ingredients inside as well, just slices of chickens and two prawns.
There are no any fish balls or crab meats in it at all.
The taste of the tom yam is just so-so.
Although it's too spicy which suit my liking, but the taste does not seem appealing to me.
Very average only....nothing unique in this bowl of tom yam.

Rainbow Snow Ice OK Aug 17, 2012   (Related Review)

I actually order this snow ice based on the picture on the menu.
The colour of the desert really very beautiful and attracts me.
Hahaha....~~!

RM 3.50 per bowl

They just put artificial colours or syrups over the ice to make it look colourful.
The ice is a lot however I find that the syrups given is not enough.
The ice just seems not sweet enough to me.
It comes with variety of jelly toppings and longan.
And I like the jelly a lot because its just taste so sweet and I love sweet food.
Overall, not bad but I will not recommend this.
There are better choices in the menu in my opinion.

Mix Snow Ice Smile Aug 17, 2012

This dessert stall actually located at the peak of Queensbay Mall shopping complexes.
They offer various types of deserts at a very reasonable and affordable price.

Mix Snow Ice
RM 6.50

Typically, this bowl of snow ice contains mixture of fruits.
There are the slices of kiwis, strawberries, bananas, honeydews, dragon fruits, watermelons, mango and few types
of jellies as the toppings too.
I find that it is too sweet if you're not a big fans of sweet food.
Overall, I just love it tongue
The only thing I want to mention is that the ice is too little and it should be a little bit more.
Some of the fruits such as the strawberries and kiwis is really very sour.
Others is sweet.
All in all, price is quite cheap and portion is quite big.

Fried Rice  Smile Aug 17, 2012
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

This is another dish that the ' Choo Char ' at Restoran Tong Hai Aun offers.

Fried Rice
RM 3 per plate

The plate of fried rice consists of fried rice, prawns, vegetables and slices of chicken.
First of all, the aroma of the fried rice is very nice and fragrant.
The fried rice is different than a lot of other stalls.
Their rice is very smooth and the taste is very delicious at the first time I taste it too.
The only thing I want to mention is I really think that the fried rice taste better when cooked together
with the vegetables.
This is because I had tried before the fried rice with no vegetables but the taste is totally different from
my expectation.

Overall, portion of the rice is very generous and price is also very reasonable and cheap too.
The fried rice taste extra better when eat together with the sambal as well.
