Fusion Lunch 2nd Visit Smile Jul 08, 2012   (Related Review)
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Western variety | Café | Pizza/Pasta | Steaks / Chops

As I had mentioned before in my latest food reviews,
Fusion Lunch is the latest ongoing promotion done by Fullhouse.
This deals cost only RM 9.90 from Monday to Friday at 12 to 3 p.m. only.
Other than that, this deals actually cost more than RM17++ per set.

The deal actually comes with variety of choices which consist of mainly :
* Wantan Mee with Teriyaki Chicken
* Minced Chicken Rice
* Loh Mee
* Soup Noodle
* Breaded Chicken Curry Rice
+
with an Ice Lemon Tea Drink too

As my last visits, I had tried Minced Chicken Rice.
So, during my latest visit, I try the Wantan Mee with Teriyaki Chicken.
Yummy!

Yummy!

Well, the wantan mee taste very nice and delicious although the portion of the serving might be quite small.
About the teriyaki chicken, I rather feel its just normal chicken, nothing special about it.
Sourish!

Sourish!

As I do not like their ice lemon tea very much, I order other drink.
The drinks which I actually forget what's it called, taste very sour indeed, but the jelly serve is nice
But, I think the drink price is very reasonable.

Haven Delight is a restaurant that located in Penang Times Square.
I actually bought this deal from the website for RM28 only which normally costs RM49.90 per person.
They offer variety of choices to choose from - Hong Kong, Shanghainese, Korean and Japanese cuisines too!
This is actually a BUFFET but you do not go to the counter and choose your pick.
However,they have a menu which you actually had to tick your order in the paper and the staff will bring them for you.

Some of the food pictures we order :

All the food were serve hot which is very nice. The taste is not bad especially the squid and the steam fish. Others was pretty delicious too.

Chopper Board @ Gurney Smile Jun 27, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Western variety | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta | Seafood

Chopper Board actually have 2 outlets in Penang, namely one in Queensbay Mall and the other one in Gurney Plaza.
The outlets that I am reviewing today is the one located at Gurney.
I found that the seating is not very comfortable as the space is pretty small in my opinion compared to the one in Queensbay.

Let's move in to the food :

This 2 spaghetti is actually super-cheesy. One of it is the ham spaghetti while the other one is a hotdog spaghetti. For me, there are too much cheese that it easily make me feel full.

The chopper soup actually taste very nice. Somehow 90% alike as the so call fake shark fin soup. But overall, I love the taste and the price is very cheap and reasonable. Next, is the mushroom soup. Average taste and not bad too.

Brownie with a scoop of ice-cream. The brownie is very yummy and soft when eating together with the ice-cream. Very delicious indeed!

Overall, the price of the food there is considered very cheap and reasonable.
* A must try *

Delicious Wan Tan Mee Smile Jul 29, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Noodles

I love to eat Wan Tan Mee at this stall.
I believe that they serve one of the best Wan Tan Mee in town.

The wan tan mee chopstick

The soup with wan tans in it chopstick

Overall, the price of the wan tan mee is quite cheap and yet the portion is pretty big as well.
I always demand for extra soy sauce so that my plate of wan tan mee will taste more aromatic.
Their mee is very soft and even their 'char siew' taste good as well.
The soup is pretty nice to, but the only thing I dislike is that their wan tan does not contains a lot
of meat inside.
Their wan tan mee sauce taste very nice and fragrance.
Overall, I would highly recommend this stall for all the wan tan mee lovers smile

Best Tom Yam Smile Jul 27, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Café | Noodles

This particular tom yam stall that sells in Asia Cafe (opposite to Air Hitam monument)
actually have the other branch in Raja Uda.
They operates their business from 5.30p.m. to 11.30p.m. only.
During my visit, I would have to wait for nearly half an hour to get my tom yam serve as
they have a lot of customers come and go non-stop.
The Stall

The Stall

So basically, this is their stall in Asia Cafe.
There are only 2 people to operate the business, so you would actually have to wait for a little longer time.
Well, that's what people say, good things always need patience !

The ho jiak tomyam chopstick
This bowl only costs me RM5 which I considered very cheap.
You can have the option to eat your tom yam with instant noodles, rice, porridge or even vermicelli.

No lies, but my first impression towards the tom yam soup is towards the negative ones.
However, after the first moment I taste the tom yam soup, I knew that what I think is wrong.
To me, the soup have the mixture of spicy, sour and even sweet.
The aroma of the tom yam is totally irresistible and probably the best tom yam I had ever taste yet in my life.

Forget to mention, you can actually add various types of ingredients by your self as what most of the tom yam
stall do anyway.
However, I did actually think that this tom yam price is more cheaper than any other tom yam stall even their taste
is not as great as they do.
Lastly, the aroma is irresistible, the taste is superb, the portion is big and best of all the price is cheap.
So, what can you ask for more? smile

* Highly recommended for Tom Yam lovers *
