The Food Court at Esplanade actually offers one of the best Mee Sotong and Coconut Shake in Penang!
The place operates from morning until evening on Monday to Saturday only.This is the mee sotong which costs RM4 per plate. It comes with a lot of sotong which is a good thing. The mee sotong is indeed very delicious and generous in serving.Fresh coconut shakes. The drinks taste very refreshing. It consists with slices of coconut flesh plus with vanilla ice-cream. The shake just cost RM2.50 per glass which is considerate very cheap too.

Overall, the food court is not very clean in my eyes. But, if you do not care too much about the cleanliness of the seating, you will enjoy your delicious meals at there. Or else, there's always an alternative as you can always take away which a lot of people actually did.

From my personal point of view, I believe that James Foo Western Food is one of the cheapest and tasty western food in town.

They have a variety of menu to offer starting from chicken to fish or to lamb and so on!
Their price is very reasonable as the serving portion is quite large.
The drinks are not expensive too.

Well, let the picture do the talking :Grill Chicken & Fish Combo which cost around RM10++ only. The taste is nice and the serving portion is very generous as I had mention.Holland Chicken which I love the most. It comes with pineapple and a slice of ham too! Yummy...Yummy * a must try *The drink is quite big for the price we had to pay.

Lastly, I highly recommend this western food restaurant but be sure to reach there early. Or else this place is very pack with people even during weekdays. The place only operates at night starting from 6p.m.++ if I am not mistaken.

The chicken combo consists of 2 pieces of chicken chops. They are grilled with different sauces.
One of them is the curry flavor while the other one is the original flavor which is towards the more salty part in my opinion. The chicken is grill to perfection. Each and every part of the chicken is well-cooked and not raw. Then, it is serves with french fries and some salad as well. Overall, I find that it is quite appetizing and the portion of the serving is pretty generous as well. Yet, the price is very affordable and reasonable as it comes with not 1, but 2 pieces of chickens.

Uncle Bob Fried Chicken is the stall that you can find in every night market in Penang,
or maybe in other states as well that I don't know.

It used to be RM 5 per chicken, but now the prices had increased to RM 5.50 for one.
You can choose either original flavor which is just plain chicken or with the spicy flavor which they
will add chilies powder all over the chicken.
Then, the chicken will be cut into small pieces and put in a paper bag to sell for customers.

The only thing that I dislike about their chicken is that I find there are too much bones in it
as I prefer a boneless chicken or I do not actually mind if it just a few bones.
But, in their cases, its a lot of too much bones in those chicken which is far from liking.
After all, the taste of the chicken is still not bad actually other than the bones problem.

Soya bean is actually very good for beauty skin and yet, the taste is no doubt, tasty and simply refreshing.
It only costs RM 1 per packet / cup, which is indeed very cheap for such a healthy drink.
The soya bean stalls at the night market offers quite a big packet for a drink that only costs one buck.
The sweetness of the soya bean is very appropriate as it is not too sweet neither too tasteless.
