The mouthwatering appetizer we had was Pomelo and Duck Confit salad with Asian herbs, cost RM20.90 before tax.

The whole bowl of salad was full of pomelo, peanuts, duck confit, tomatoes and vietnam dipping which was sweet and sour with little spicy taste. We both love it for its refreshing and juicy dish. The salad was served with cabbage. We pealed layer by layer off the cabbage and wrapped it with a little amount of the salad like Vietnamese cuisine. The way it was eaten was superb! The Duck Confit was not too salty while the peanuts enhanced the dish. Tomatoes were sweet taste and the dressing was appetizing mixing with the whole ingredients.

We had the item Pan-seared Cod fish, RM50.90 before tax. The pan-seared Cod fish served with sauteed prawns on ratatouille and fried potatoes, tomatoes, olive on tomato sauce.

Nice presentation along with a nice ambience made the dish looks appetizing. Two medium size prawns topped on a pan-seared cod fish underneath was fried potatoes. The prawns and the cod were fresh. The prawns in particular, were springy in texture. The Cod was smooth in texture and sweet in taste. I like the pan-seared cod for which it cooked in golden colour and tasted a little crispy effect on the outer layer. yummy!

Tong Kee (棠记)'s egg tart is the best seller item that known to all. In fact, I personally find its egg tart is the best I have tried so far. The quality of its egg tart still sustained till today. I could go for 3 Tong Kee's egg tarts at once.

I love its fresh flaky crust which you can never find elsewhere and smooth egg custard which definitely not from colouring nor preservative. Not too sweet and the level of sweetness met my expectation. The baking temperature is always maintained to golden colour. The egg tart is well balanced with its crust and egg custard. Hence, I enjoyed every single bite I made. Indulgence!

A German beer named Warsteiner Premium Verum, cost RM23.00 per bottle before tax. Premium Verum, a pilsener style beer. The ingredients are forest spring water, two-row malted summer barley and all German hops. The alcohol content is 4.8 percent.

I personally found the beer is gentle taste, no bitter taste at all, easy to drink means to say not strong in alcohol content at all. Except that it was a bit gassy when consume.

Ginger fried rice, cost RM6.90 before tax. Currently this particular dish is on promotion, offering 50% discount till end of Aug 2012.

This dish was recommended by my sister who had tried and found it was really mouthwatering. Hence, I went, I personally find, the taste of the fried rice served on that day was not what my sister has described to me that was smell and tasted of the strong ginger. The fried rice served with sliced gingers, sliced carrots and bitten eggs. Overall of the fried rice taste a bit sweet, a bit oily and a bit of the frying aroma only. Improvement is required.
