Having dine-in a cosy, homely interior and decor with 90% teak wood material gave the "Zen" ambience that certainly made us both feel relax completely after a tough day at work.

We have ordered a bottle of hot sake (rice wine) named Tokkuri, cost RM55/bottle before tax. Having hot sake along with food is always a perfect move in particular the best choice if it goes with sashimi. Sake is a colourless wine and it is made of fermented rice. In this particular Tokkuri, I found it was mild and smooth that made it easy to drink, however, if it turned colder, the taste changed which I found it was a big rough to drink. In terms of the alcohol level, I would consider it normal.

On a special occasion, we went to this beautiful restaurant for dinner. They served complimentary Chuka Idako, means steamed and marinated baby octopus. The is a common dish found in all restaurants that serves Japanese cuisine.

Each diner will get a small plate. The baby octopus was quite big in size, they served the whole baby octopus, there were 2 pieces. I like this appetizer as it is one of my favourites. Taste was not salty nor too sweet, it mixed with sesame and it is cold dish. The texture of the baby octopus was just right, not too soft nor tough. We had it finished within a few minutes.

The name of our appetizer is California Salad, cost RM28 before tax. As stated in the menu, the salad served with garden greens with salmon, tuna, avacado, crab stick and flying fish roe in wasabi dressing.

The portion was big enough for 2 but we could not finish it somehow, reason being, there were missing of Salmon and Tuna. Furthermore, they served mayonnaise dressing instead of Wasabi dressing. I was quite sure of the dressing because it was taste more like mayonnaise while wasabi will have a bit of spicy taste. No double they served a lot of greens, sliced avocado and full of deep fried crab stick but those are of not valuable than the Salmon and Tuna meat. I was very disappointed with this dish. Overall, I would say, the salad was just very ordinary salad.

Here is a Rack of lamb with mint pesto served with roasted potatoes and fresh vegetables, cost RM48.00 before tax.

When it was being served on the table, the strong grilling aroma coming from the rack of lamb that was so mouthwatering. When making a first cut and put the first piece of mutton into my mouth, tasted the mint pesto then slowly chewed it, the meat was so tender and juicy. The portion was just right for a person. This should be the way to taste a good quality food serving the right portion, not too little nor too much to waste it.

Next, we had this funny looking 2 sausages named Oxford Cheese Sausages, cost RM11.90. I had a good look at it and deciding whether I shall try it. I also learnt that it was made from their own recipe. The dish was served with crispy fries and refreshing salad.

Eventually, I have tried it also, it was really tasty and juicy too. It was not too salty and the quality of the sausages look more superior than the sausages found in our local supermarket.
