A medium size restaurant lot with wooden dining tables & chairs. It has only 2 round tables which can accommodate up to 10 diners. 5 smaller dining tables fit up to maximum of 6 pax and the rest are small dining tables that fits to 3 pax at the most.

It is a place for tea lovers & health conscious diners.

Their food are simple & affordable in price as well as the portion. They only served green tea rice. Every single dish has the content of tea.

Rose Egg Custard, revised cost to RM5, (last seen in Feb 2013 was about RM3+only). It served in a chinese tea cup with cover.

Only in my third visit I got to try this wonderful dessert. In my previous visit, the waitress told me that this item is not available daily. I specifically ordered to serve me after my main meal 'cos egg custard is good to consume while it is warm.

Taste of tea fragrant but not entirely covered the presence of the egg custard. Texture of the egg custard was indeed smooth & soft. Sweetness level was up to my liking.

The portion is just nice for one person consumption.

I would give a rating of 9/10.

Raspberry creme brûlée cost RM12++. You may finish it in 2-3 full teaspoons. Good for 1 serving only. Also it is good for those who are weight watch due to small portion.

Brought to this new place @ KLCC by a friend.

It was full house during lunch hour. Floor staff are not well trained including the Outlet Manager. They do not know how to allocate table to the diners and slow response. We have to propose to them the seating allocation. Floor staff and Outlet Manager are equally poor in managing seating for the diners.

Pricing is above average, taste of the food is average to me. However, they service on serving food is quite fast.

The texture of the creme brûlée was a bit rough or rather overcooked, Raspberry taste was absence. The sweetness level was acceptable to me. Funny thing was, the topping is a slice of strawberry. I was wondering whether they have put the name wrongly which supposedly was Strawberry creme brûlée.

I would give a rating 5/10.

Heavenly Dessert  Smile Nov 27, 2013

This heavenly dessert named Rose Lotus Seed Paste, cost RM5++/bowl - MUST TRY!

I had this as my appetizer instead. I was very hungry that day, while waiting for the main dish to be served then I decided to order a bowl of dessert to warm my stomach. Gosh! My first try & I love it very much. smile

The lotus seed blended turned into paste and the sweetness to my liking. Strong taste of lotus seed served it warm. Dried Rose tea leafs as topping to spice up the taste. Silky smooth texture and light, not too filling like peanut paste.

I enjoyed every spoonful. The creamy lotus paste blend-in my entire tongue and made a lasting taste in my mouth till the main dish served.

I did the right thing to have it first before the main dish so that I could enjoy the dessert bettlol

The final dish of our order was Stir-fried Sambal Petai (a scientific name of Parka Speciosa) aka Stink Bean with Onion, cost RM15nett.

I do not usually fancy this dish but since my friend has suggested to have it and I thought I could just skip this dish for others. However, when the dish was being served on our dining table, the aroma of the sambal was really tempting. This particular sambal aroma was not strong of the presence of the chillies. My friends have encouraged me to taste a bit of it, so I thought, perhaps, I should try it for the sake of the Openrice review purpose. smile

To my surprise, the dish was acceptable to me, just mild spicy, the petai was fresh, not overcooked hence, it was crunchy. The stink smell was covered with the presence of good Sambal aroma. One word to described this dish, delectable!

This is one of the tasty dishes we had. The Hokkein braised Yee Fu (egg noodle), cost RM12nett for a single portion but served quite generous portion.

The high egg content Yee Fu was chewy in texture. The Yee Fu was stir-fried with veg, medium size prawns, chicken meat and generous pork fat found in the dish. I must admit that this truly tasty Hokkein Braised Yee Fu was so appetizing which met our expectation. Firstly, the good aroma of freshly cooked, the ingredients and the stir-fried skill were so well-balance, it was not oily nor too salty. It does not feel it was filing too much of having it but the feeling of wanting it more! tongue
