If not for a voucher deal for a buffet meal for only RM35, I would not have found this quaint little restaurant located in Damansara Perdana.
The ambience at this restaurant was actually quite good, the lights are muted and one wall was filled with renaissance period painting from floor to ceiling giving it a very classy feel. There is a wide selection of wine available with wine bottles displayed on racks forming one wall separator.
The Spanish-Mediterranean buffet selection were huge with soups, salads, entrees, pasta, risotto, paella, seafood, poultry, beef, lamb, pork dishes like knuckles and sausages, pizza and dessert.
Based on the varieties of food, I would like to highlight their Seafood Paella with generous amounts of squid, fish slices, mussels, shrimp and clams. The rice tasted of the combined fusion of all the wonderful flavours from the seafood and it was totally awesome. There was such intense mix of flavors from the wine and saffron to paprika that it will not disappoint diners. The success of a paella dish is also on the texture of the rice. Too much broth and it will be soggy and too little it will be dry. Here, they have managed to find a balance and the result was a paella with just the right moisture retained so that it tasted soft but still able to keep its form. Wonderful choice.
