Hidden Gem in Malacca

I guessed most of Malaccans are familiar with this Hidden Cafe in Jonker Street - The Coffee Jar 呷珈琲.  They are famous for their coffee as they
roast their own coffee beans.  All of their food and beverages are made from scratch.

I had known the owner, Joey for quite a long time, ever since she worked in one of the cafe in Malacca. Then she left there and set up  The Coffee Jar.
Despite her vast knowledge and talent on coffee, she is a very humble person. I would say that she serves the best coffee in Malacca because
her coffee has a very unique floral notes. **Floral notes highlight the fragrance of the flowers of the coffee plant.

If you have the chance to visit her place, please go for the Ethiopia or Panama Single Origin Coffee. Trust me, the taste of it worth every penny you      spend. I am not a big fan of drip coffee but her drip coffee tasted wonderfabulous. All of their beverages are made with love and heart. Super good!

I will continue to talk about their cafe expansion and other beverages in my next review!
Their lovely interior with a minimalism style.

Finally I am able to taste good Yuki Ichigo 雪梅娘 and it's in Malacca!
One of my good friend introduced me this place to me - Little Cosy Baking Studio.

Their shop is located in Kota Syahbandar right above Suukee Satay, on the 3rd floor. Location can be found in Waze.

Actually orders need to be made a day before as all of their desserts are freshly made on the day itself. But on that day I called in the morning and
they said I can come to dine in at around 2pm.

** Best to pre-order a day before so the dessert will be ready when the time you reached.

Just like their name, although it does not have a very expensive renovation but it was so damn cosy and warmth! I felt like I am eating dessert just in my house.

Their Yuki Ichigo 雪梅娘 was WOW. The skin was so thin that it melts in your mouth! Most importantly, the skin does not stick onto your teeth.
I ordered their signature ones, Mango, Strawberry and Oreo. The fruit fillings were fresh too! Ordered 6, devoured 3 in less than 5 minutes.

They have other desserts like Tarts, Mini Tarts and Madeleine but I was already full. Definitely gonna try it on my next visit.

The only downturn is that their outlet is on the 3rd floor, felt a bit tired after climbing HAHA. But their dessert was worth the climb! It will be better if they serve my favorite coffee.

You guys can contact their friendly lady boss to order at 016-9568756 (Sharon) or book a place at their outlet. Please do drop them a visit if you're
in Malacca.

Categories : Malaysian variety | Stall / Warung | Nasi Lemak

Fuhhh, was spotting around in this food court called D'Tank Paradise located in Limbongan. Saw this stall - Papa Jimmy Nasi Lemak and decided to try it out. Actually already craving for Nasi Lemak for damn bloody long.

Ordered their Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Berempah. Out of my expectation, it tasted so good. The fried chicken was freshly fried, the skin was crispy  as hell and the meat was freaking juicy! They gave a hearty amount of rice and it was fragrant and hot too. And it only costs RM 7. For this amount of rice and the size of chicken, it could costs easily RM 9-Rm 10 in KL. My friend tried the NL Sambal Petai Udang, also damn bloody good.

Talked to the boss and found out they was previously selling in Malim Pasar Malam on every Friday Night.

Uncle I give you 5 stars, confirmed will come again.
