Char Koay Teow Smile Aug 06, 2013

Penang One is the place I love the most where they do have a variety of food to chooose. We had made a few orders of the food which one of the top Penang food MUST have will be the char koay teow. Well stir fried with the bean sprouts as well as the huge prawns with the “imported” penang koay teow is just perfect. You can opt to add duck egg together with it as well.
Price: RM 10.90

I was in Teluk Intan and dear took me for a delighting supper or can say a dessert meal at Teluk Intan. This place is absolute a nice place for the delighting flavours of icing products like ABC which means by Ais Batu Campur in Malay. This time we are not going for ABC but we are going for another dessert which called Sai Mai Lo.. which is dear’s favorite since he is a kid and we went to have them..The taste is simply nice and they also added some fruits which make it even better.. Oishi desu ooo!!!!

Taste: 5/5
Price: 2.40

Our trip to Ipoh this time is furnish with Mee Zhong Yuen ( which literally translate will be Graduate Mee) .. kinda funny name. This place is recomended by dear to have since we do not know what to have this time. This shop is located at Taman Ipoh. and you can see this plcae is packed with people during early morning.Mee zhong yuen is not much special except the base is more for pork lovers as most of the ingredients are made of pork mostly. With this, we can have a taste of the pork a lot and ovwerall the taste is not bad.

Mee Rebus  Smile Aug 05, 2013

One of the famous Mee Rebus stall is located in Teluk Intan where dear took me back to his hometown to try for that. The Mee Rebus shop had been opened a long time ago and it is said to have a few branches in the town. The food wise is simply nice. What I can say about the mee rebus is the taste is very nice and the sauce is not too starchy. There is nice taufu and egg added into the mee as well as tau kua and others as well. The most famous is the boiled noodle served with a gravy that is both (moderately) spicy and sweet called ‘Mee Rebus’; the most famous being from Mastan Ghani. besides the famous mee rebus they also served Nasi Kandar.

Kedai Makanan Chooi Huan Smile Aug 05, 2013

Kedai Makanan Chooi Huan is one of the famous chu char ( stir-fried ) shop in Teluk Intan. Food there is consider a much more cheaper than in Penang or in Kuala Lumpur. This is my destination for food recommended by my dear.Curry fish is one of the order for this time. The curry fish smells nice with the authentic rempah and the taste of it is not like the Mamak style but it is more towards the sour type of curry and the fish is also very fresh.
