The shop is being established early 1950’s, it is said that the quality of their serving remain unchanged since the early days. Funny Mountain serves the smoothest Tau Fu Fa in Ipoh Town. The boss is so thoughtful, they provide “drive-thru” service where you signal a little and the workers will deliver your orders. I had been there a few times but what I can say is the taste remains the same and still a super thumbs up.Soya Milk is also really smooth and the soya milk is very pure. It is also pretty refreshing as well

Satay here is unique as they serve offal satay as well the normal chicken and pork varieties. They will drop it on your table and you can eat alll you can. You do not need to finish the whole bunch but when you surrender let him know and they charge you according to how many satay sticks you have eaten. The satay is fresh and meat is tender too

Thean Chun which is named The HOUSE of MIRRORS is one of a MUST when you are in Ipoh and they are definately Ipoh hall of fame of restaurant. The original old-style interior to the remarkable food tastes of Ipoh aside the famous dim sum of Ipoh.The custard is very nice which is wobbly, eggy and slippery smooth and served with brown sugar syrup.

The shop which is easily spotted colored in red and It is one of the MUST buy food in Ipoh when there. This time, we headed there for some food and spotted the shop. It is simply well prepared in box for take away and we waited for 15 minutes for them to prepare for us. The chicken portion is small but the meat is tender as well as juicy too. The delights is amazingly good and I love the slight salty texture.
