Ong Kee at Ipoh is famous for the chicken rice ..and at the same street there are two shops of Ong Kee. Though is the same owner but the original one will be the one old house which is not so maintened. As we had our dinner already, we headed to Ong Kee to taste the famous Ipoh Stim Chicken. Both me and dear ordered a quarter chicken to dine as well as the taugeh.Seriously the taste is really very nice. Though some are not chicken drumstick which the meat is smooth, the breast meat of the chicken is also very smooth. is a bit weird where we cant find any chilies on the table for us to mix with the chicken. I think the bos concept is to taste the original taste of the chicken without any chilies.

We went to have curry mee in Ipoh when dear went there to have his teeth check. The curry mee here is not much spicy but very nice taste. This shop which is located at Jalan Market at Ipoh is located at the corner of the road and is much more IT shop.

 
The order was taken silently and it has a device transfer to kitchen to make the curry mee. The curry is served quite fast and taste wise is oishi desu. Wat can I say is there is much ingredient with a spicy taste of it.

Overall is OISHI… curry mee..

This is “Dai Shu Kiok” literally translated as Big Tree Foot, is located behind Tuck Kee Restaurant in Pasir Pinji is our visit during our trip to Ipoh. Thanks to the Garmin GPS which had brought us there. The place served plentiful of hawker delights like fried koay teow and more but what is the most famous here will be the Yong Tau Foo.They offers more than 20 types of homemade Yong Tau Foo is available from about 11am. The fish paste stuffing is made from toufoo yue and the selection is fresh, the fried items are fried on the spot and served hot. Delicious and affordable, you cannot afford to miss out on these offerings.

Hong Kee(芳记) is one of the most famous stall in Ipoh that sells the traditional Chinese dessert which is Mah Chee. The small stall had received a lot of compliments and features is newspaper as well the famous 8TV program “Ho Chak”Peanut Paste Dessert is having the right sweetness with a great texture which is smooth, creamy and fragrant. When they had just served, we can smells the delighting peanut taste from afar. It could be tasted of the real silky peanut blend taste

New Zealand Mussels with Prawns where the fresh prawns and New Zealand green lipped mussels sautéed with special herbs and garlic in Marianna sauce. The prawns is quite fresh but doubt for the mussel.

Black Pepper Chicken Rice where the chicken is being deep fried and served with black pepper sauce. The portion was a big one but slightly salty
