Sakae Sushi Smile Jun 28, 2013

Sakae Sushi in Queensbay is one of the outlet which is always packed with customers during the lunch as well as the dinner time. Every time I passed through the restaurant, it is definitely a long lining up in the restaurant. We are lucky that day where the waiting time is not too long.Salmon Kabuto Shioyaki is one of our ordered in Sakae Sushi. Instead of teriyaki, we opt for shioyaki and this is where the grilled salmon head is being grilled with the salt and the overall freshness of the fish is there.

New World Park at Swatow Lane, off Burma Road is one of the famous tourist food attractions not to be missed when you are coming for food. The New World Park is a place where you can find a variety of food choices like the Asam Laksa,Char Koay Teow and many more there.

This round, I am going for the Char Koay Teow there. Not much to shout out about the Char Koay Teow except for its spiciness. The Char Koay Teow is well fried and added the ingredients of taugeh as well as prawn in it.

We ordered the Tiramisu cake which come up in a larger portion which surprise me. The cake is well served with chunky nuts on the top and the creamy creams by the layer. It is full of indulgence and the cake is simply lovely with lots of nuts covered in it.. I love the cold texture of the cakes when it is being served and I am falling in love with it for sure.

Walnut and Espresso Cake  Smile Jun 28, 2013

China House is buzzing along the Unesco heritage Zone and the shop is occupying three colonial shop house along Beach Street. The shop had attracted many foodies to try their food and it offers from breakfast, lunch as well as dinner too. China House is a combination of cafe/ bar/ restaurant/ wine lounge/ gallery all in one roof where it meets the needs of all. The restaurant is offering refined fusion dishes but for this round, I am there to have a light brunch with a friend.

Walnut and Espresso Cake is also another cake not to be missed. Though the portion looks slightly small, but it is indeed a heavy for a cake and the piece of cakes is really rich as well.

Lo Bak Smile Jun 28, 2013   (Related Review)

What is a Must here ? It will be the Lo Bak, which is a combination of a few fried items. I am always falling in love with fried items where here I usually get the prawn fritters, the lo bak and more and all of it is sinfully delicious. The loh bak was crispy on the outside and the meat was well marinated, tender and juicy.
