Vanilla Flavor Crepe Cake

The photo above show is vanilla flavor. It is very nice. The most delicious part of the cake is the feeling of the multilayer. The mixture of the cream and the thin flour part make the cake taste better and special.

Chili's "HOT HOT " Smile Jun 12, 2012

My sister is typical good food lover. She brought me here last year, after the "coach" handbag fair in Gurney Plaze Penang.

We ordered a main dish and the Molten Chocolate Cake. Warm Chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling. Topped with vanilla ice-cream under a crunchy chocolate shell. This is awesome. When I scooped out the cake, the chocolate fudge split over the plate and make it looks more tempting. Wao... There is just 1 word to describe it.. It is YUMMY YUMMY. Their food serving is both good in appearance and taste. I like it so much.

RM15.95

I ordered Southwestern Grilled Lamb as well. The grilled lamb with Chili's special marinade. Served with mashed potatoes with black pepper gravy, seasonal veggies and garlic toast. I would strongly recommend this dish as well. My grilled lamb is medium done, this was my first time to try that. The taste is much better than well-done cook lamb. This is because, the lamb meat is softer and more smooth by cooking medium done. The mashed potato smell so nice, and it is so smooth. I was almost fulled with the lamb but I can't resist to finish all the mashed potatoes. What else left in my plate was the Garlic bread. I thought I would just leave it. While when I tried the first small piece, I knew I would have to finish it. It's great.

RM30.95

"Thousand layer" cake Cry Jun 09, 2012

I tried this cake once when we were celebrating a uni's friend birthday. His GF ordered crepe cake so called thousand layer cake in Mandarin. That were our first time to try this type of cake, we were really surprise to try this. The multi layer cake and the vanilla cream in between have made the cake taste so different. Besides, the cake is very smooth which have allured us to try more.

Khang's gf ordered the 1/2 kg cake and there were more than 10 of us, so each and everyone can only taste a very small piece of the crepe cake. So, the little amount have captured my attention and initiate I to try again.

I ordered again myself during my 21st bday. Instead of booking online, I called the PIC in Penang to order the cake. Well, I was really frustrated that time. There is only one number in charge of Pg Area, I need to call for several times to reach the person. Well, is okay. When I reach him, the line is not good, and the person was rude to me too. I was really upset that time. however, I still decided to purchase the cake from because I want to give my family members a try on this crepe cake too on my memorial day.

In butterworth area, they will send the cake to a Floral Shop in Auto City, Juru. We have to pick up ourselves at there. I asked my sister to help me, another disappointment happened to me was, they have mistakenly given my cake to another person and they gave me the person cake as exchange. I was really upset on their service, though their cake is really nice. More appropriate to describe will be, their cake is nice for small portion. If you take more than two pieces, you will too "rise" in stomach or uncomfortable.

Q Breek @ Queensbay Mall OK Jun 09, 2012

Boy friend and me have booked the movie "The snow white and the huntsman" on Wednesday night at 7.05pm. He work at George Town area, and thus we have to rush to Queensbay after we finished work. Thought of what to have for the dinner, we remember there is a restaurant in the 1st floor at reasonable price. We went there once, and the restaurant was selling set meal at only RM5.00 which comes with drink. It is really cheap, and it can be counted as the cheapest food in Queensbay Mall.

Well, the food is also in big portion, you can see from the photos below, and I can't finish that. The food is ok only, acceptable. I will advise don't order the chicken, I can comment as "fail" seriously, the fish is better.

Basically, the environment of the restaurant is good also. It is small, they have sepearated the restaurant by half, 1 part for serving customers and another half is their kitchen. They separate nicely and thus you wouldn't feel uncomfortabel with the stink smell of food.

Grilled Fish & Mushroom Sauce

Ice Lemon Tea

However, they have removed these set meals from their menu. The price is slightly higher for sure.
