Pearl drink Cry Jul 31, 2012
Categories : Stall / Warung | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

The most disappointed experience I had to purchase pearl drink. This is the size of their pearl drink after I put it for a while before consumption.

Beside the taste is just too "plain", I cannot feel the sense of happiness like what I normally have when i consume other pearl drink. I really like pearl drink a lot, and I will suddenly feel like I want it too much. I bought coffee flavor for this, the coffee is really disappointing, maybe maybe it is due to the melting of the ice. But right, is it a proper excuse? I don't know, I cannot convince myself if the taste is bad because of i left it beside too long. Beside, if i consume half and just left a few coffee maybe the reason of the bad taste is due to the ice, but I had never opened the casing as you can see.

Really disappointed, and I am disappointed to their service too. I swear i will not buy their drink again.huffy

Tosai @ QB food market Cry Jul 17, 2012
Categories : Malaysian variety | Food court | Noodles

This is a really random meal me and bf took in QB food court. The comment is we wouldn't go again. Haha!! The food really not nice. We ordered this just to fill up our stomach before going to a movie. It was quite a rush that time. We simply order something to eat.

I never try tosai, this is my first time and would be the last I think. My bf insisted to order this as he said Tosai is nice, but what we taste here is really disappointed. sorry to say that, maybe this is the taste of Tosai from elsewhere, if it is then i can say Tosai is definitely not my cup of tea.

The side dishes, the vege from the economical rice beside don't taste nice either. The vege is cold, oo yup, i prefer hot food. They give me the sense of it is just cooked and fresh. But the fried chicken is nice. Or I should say fried chicken is always nice?? haha!!

Well, I tried the ice kacang in this food court as well. So it is really SWEET dessert, so if you like SWEET. or REALLy SWEET please go ahead to the stalls.

The Ship @ Batu ferinngi Cry Jul 17, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Steaks / Chops | Seafood

The ship is well known as the best steak, but personally I don't like steak so I just order chicken chop.

This is the black pepper grilled chicken. It cost me 20+ but, I have no idea why the fries and the chop they served is cold. It was crowded in The Ship, but their food can be served very fast. I wonder it is they have prepared everything, and just pour the sauce on the chop. I don't deny many restaurant did that, but well, to be qualified to price your customers at higher price, you should at least serve us "hot" food.

Well, this is the banana boat dessert, this is nice. The ice-cream taste smooth.

The service there is okay. I just couldn't understand why they serve such quality food with such high price, but the place still that crowded. Maybe I went a wrong time, the better chef is on leave or maybe due to other reason that I couldn't think of.

"Thousand layer" cake Cry Jun 09, 2012
Categories : Western variety | Café | Sweets/Snack | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

I tried this cake once when we were celebrating a uni's friend birthday. His GF ordered crepe cake so called thousand layer cake in Mandarin. That were our first time to try this type of cake, we were really surprise to try this. The multi layer cake and the vanilla cream in between have made the cake taste so different. Besides, the cake is very smooth which have allured us to try more.

Khang's gf ordered the 1/2 kg cake and there were more than 10 of us, so each and everyone can only taste a very small piece of the crepe cake. So, the little amount have captured my attention and initiate I to try again.

I ordered again myself during my 21st bday. Instead of booking online, I called the PIC in Penang to order the cake. Well, I was really frustrated that time. There is only one number in charge of Pg Area, I need to call for several times to reach the person. Well, is okay. When I reach him, the line is not good, and the person was rude to me too. I was really upset that time. however, I still decided to purchase the cake from because I want to give my family members a try on this crepe cake too on my memorial day.

In butterworth area, they will send the cake to a Floral Shop in Auto City, Juru. We have to pick up ourselves at there. I asked my sister to help me, another disappointment happened to me was, they have mistakenly given my cake to another person and they gave me the person cake as exchange. I was really upset on their service, though their cake is really nice. More appropriate to describe will be, their cake is nice for small portion. If you take more than two pieces, you will too "rise" in stomach or uncomfortable.

This is a normal coffee shop located at George Town area, and I heard people said the area there called Kampung Malabar. This is what I am not so sure.

The dishes to strongly recommend is their Roti Bakar. They are actually bake this dish by using the "haba" of charcoal. No doubt that the bread baked by charcoal will be taste nicer then used the baker. I ordered half boiled egg as well. And you know when you dip the Roti into the half boiled egg. Mixture of them taste superb nice. It is definitely a healthy breakfast as well.

While, the famous of them is the coffee, and there is a photo showed Pg Chief Minister has visited here before too. However, the coffee is not up to the standard for myself and the service of the staffs there also not friendly at all. I will not visit again as I could get the same dishes in other place as well.

This time visit is just for trying purpose.
