Anything that is related to chocolate will be on my food-to-try list. This chocolate fondant has made it to my list after hearing so many good reviews about it.. Some say it's the best chocolate fondant in town, so I heard.

I was told that I would need to wait for about 15 - 20 mins as it will be made on the spot to preserve its freshness. Why not? As long as this fondant is worth the wait, that will do smile

First impression: Small portion (as usual), beautifully decorated and looks really delicious.
Took my first bite and I was in heaven. Hot chocolate oozes out, mixed with vanilla ice cream, this makes the perfect chocolate fondant I've ever eaten. I was so close of licking the plate clean after finishing this dessert.

Everytime I pay a visit to Brotzeit, this would be on my list. It's called the Kaiserschmarren (Emporer’s cake). . Shredded pancake with rum and raisins and served with plum sauce. The pancake is good enough to be eaten even without dipping the sauce as it is sugar coated. Yum~

Try ordering Brotzeitflade Huhn (Chicken Pizza) too when you're at Brotzeit! Ingredients: tomato sauce, spicy chicken sausages, mozzarella cheese, mushroom and olives. And yes, those ingredients are spread evenly on each slice of pizza! Now you've got no excuses to fight over pizzas tongue

Pork curry sausage (also known as Currywurst) is recommended for sharing between 2 or 3 persons. Covered in chili-curry sauce and served with potato wedges. Potato wedges are fried until they are crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. *thumbs up*

Roasted potatoes aka Bratkartoffeln. Nothing special about this dish. Perhaps I've taken a liking towards the spicy potato wedges so much that I overlooked this dish.

What level of spiciness are you? Smile Jun 05, 2012

Looking for a quiet place to satisfy your cravings for Thai food? I hereby introduce you "I'm Spicy".

Spacious enough to hold gatherings here but reservations are necessary if more than 8ppl smile

Thai rose syrup with soda. This is pretty much normal.

Look! It's ♥ shaped jasmine rice

I can't eat spicy food but I love tomyam. How? Fret not, you can ask for a non-spicy tomyam at I'm Spicy! *throws confetti*

As seen on the menu, one can choose up to 5 levels, from:

0 chillies - None for me, thanks
1 chilli - Just enough kick
2 chillies - Don't be silly, gimme the chilli
3 chillies - I brush my teeth with chilli
4 chillies - Mama put chilli in my milk!

Tom yam chicken (clear soup/small). Guess which level I picked? tongue

Grilled pork skewers, the dipping sauce makes the chargrilled lean pork even more flavourful!

Deep fried tofu with minced pork and mushroom. There's something special about the sauce that makes one craves for more.

As for dessert, you must try their Mango with sticky rice. This is damn good. Even my bf who doesn't like sticky rice ate this more than I did. The mango rice is served warm, and for some unknown reasons I could eat this continuously without feeling "jelak".

Worth every single cent I spent.

Deep dark chocolate ice cream  Smile Jun 06, 2012

Had the opportunity to be at The Bee and the first thing I did was to check out their ice cream corner! So many choices to choose from; Guinness, Nutella, Salted Gula Melaka and many more.

I've bought a tub of Nutella, Horlicks and Malt & Peanut Butter each back home before this so my aim was to buy a new flavour for me to try on! Needless to say, Deep Dark Chocolate was the winner that night.

My first impression on the ice cream was "this looks very dark, does that mean it's gonna be very bitter?" Hesitated, I finally dug in into the ice cream. The next 3 minutes I felt like I was in heaven. Why? The ice cream was so rich in chocolate that it tasted so flavorful and there was no slightest hint of bitterness at all.

I wish I could buy home another tub of ice cream sad

Have you tried white pearls?  Smile Jun 06, 2012

Gong Cha was founded in 2006. Since I was at MidValley/The Gardens for a movie screening one night, I decided to take this opportunity to try the bubble tea after reading so much about their signature winter melon tea from a friend of mine.

It wasn't easy for me to locate the outlet itself since I had no idea where it was in the first place. Ah yes, the floor directory did help me out. FYI, you can see Gong Cha if you're coming up from the escalator from first floor. My friend and I took a different route and we arrived from the opposite direction; I spotted the seating area for Gong Cha first in front of Ying Ker Lou restaurant and I thought it was slightly confusing because one can only see the outlet itself if they walked further away heading towards the escalators. As mentioned earlier on, the seating area is located away from the store itself. There're only about 4/5 tables available.

I initially wanted to order the winter melon milk tea with white pearls but unfortunately they ran out of white pearls at that time so I opted for the Gong Cha signature milk winter melon tea. I really wanted to try the white pearls though sad As the name implies, white pearls are white in colour (more like transparent maybe). From what I've read online, these white pearls are low in calories/carbs (perfect for health freaks) and are slightly harder to be chewed on.

At Gong Cha, you can ask for your drinks to be prepared according to you preferred sugar/ice level with no extra charge.

To drink Gong Cha, here are the three different ways to enjoy your drinks!

#1 Milk moustache - without stirring, sip the tea from top layer of milk foam followed by the more complex flavours of the tea.
#2 Tea off - without stirring, sip the tea from the bottom with a straw to savour the freshness and complexity of the tea.
#3 All in one - Stir both layers together and drink up!
