White choco black choco - yap! that's the name of this dessert. 80ml of 2 different types of chocolate ice creams topped with chocolate slice, served on a waffle basket. Waffle basket is baked freshly on the spot. Chocolate lovers shouldn't miss this one out. I can imagine myself gaining weight just by eating this on a weekly basis Did I mention that peanuts and almond grounds are also sprinkled on top of the ice creams?

Good food is always famous and news about this udon in Marufuku Udon has caught my attention. Along with the boyfriend, we visited this place on a rainy day.Nabeyaki Udon, served in a simmering hot pot with prawn tempura, beancurd skin, mushrooms, egg and fried dumplings. Udon is chewy and has a rather glutinous texture. Broth of this udon tasted rather salty but still acceptable. Love it when I stir the raw egg into the boiling broth. Mapo (tofu) rice. You can find minced chicken, tofu and carrots in this dish. However it is a little too spicy for me.

Ice cream is in the house! What house? Stickhouse This is not your ordinary ice cream but Italian Hand crafted Gelato to be precise.

Pork is my favourite! This is probably the best mashed potato that I've eaten in any restaurants so far. The gravy was just right, most importantly it doesn't get any saltier over the period. In fact, it makes one crave for more. Dip your burger into that bowl of beans! Cooked with ground pork, onions etc, this will make you satisfied at the of your meal. The challenge of this It gets messy.
Just look at the cheese! What else can I say Nothing beats the cheese that oozes from the center.

Also, you got to try their soup. The one I had was ham and sausage soup. Priced at RM10, I can tell you it's worth your money. Comes with a piece of garlic bread, this soup is rich in its ingredients. Every spoonful I had contained sausages, ham, onions, carrots etc.

Heard about this place from my colleague about its beautiful decorations and food and I just had to try out this restaurant since it's also near to my place.

Managed to drag the boyfriend along with me on a Saturday noon to dine in. My colleague was right; any girls who have a thing for cute little decorations would have fallen for this place immediately for its interior and exterior decorations. Everything is designed and decorated to give off a cozy environment as if one is at home at all times.

Poco Zakka serves mainly japanese food at this outlet in Sunway Giza Mall and there are also several special desserts that one should at least try once. Boyfriend ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry Rice while I had the Chocolate Molten Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream.

The sweetness and spiciness of the curry rice was just nice; each flavour blended well with the fried chicken cutlets. This dish turned out to be better than I thought it would be as almost all japanese curry rice were either too sweet for me or rather tasteless. As for the dessert, it was perfectly done too! Hot chocolate cake and ice cream are always the best partners.

Drinks were quite unique as well. I'm not a fan of tea but I really liked my order - Apple Earl Grey Tea. On the other hand, Fairy Tale contains mango and vanilla yogurt. Would have preferred it more if the mango flavour is stronger.

All in all, Poco Zakka & Kitchen is perfect for afternoon tea if you need a place to rest and chit chat with your family or friends.
