This nasi lemak is one of those that cost slightly more than in a normal restaurant or stalls.

Consists of fried ikan bilis, peanuts, few pieces of keropok, half boiled egg, generous amount of sambal, and last but not least, a piece of fried chicken which entitles this nasi lemak to be called "special".

The fragrant rice was always so good to be smelled at and tasted good. I've eaten this a few times and most outlets didn't disappoint me with their consistency in quality of meals. Spicy food is not my thing but I loved taking this sambal in a very small amount to stimulate my appetite by eating the ikan bilis that is cooked together with it. Sweet and spicy at the same time, just the kind of sambal I like!

Hmm, let's admit it that people who lives far away from home don't get to eat delicious and healthy meals most of the time. Home cooked food is always the best, don't we all agree?

At times when I'm missing my mom's cooking, especially fish, I will grab this burger from the nearest McD branch from my house. I can't really tell why I buy this burger instead of fried/steamed fish from restaurants, maybe it's the tartar sauce.

To be honest, the fish fillet burger is getting smaller these days, but I I like how it's made. Soft steamed bun with tarter sauce + pickle relish, one of the reasons why I'm still buying this (only during lunch/dinner time because it's cheaper ). If you're the type who prefers fried/crispy food, this is not the one for you.

Simplicity is best

This is your modified version of lam mee. Almost each ingredient used was the same as those in original lam mee but noodles used here was "yee mee". Prawns, cabbages, minced meat, served with yee mee in starchy broth was certainly mouth-watering. Too make it more flavourful, vinegar was added in but I won't do this personally. If I wanted something sour, I could go for asam laksa, no?When I first saw my nyonya curry mee set, I was like "Okay, this shouldn't taste too bad". But hmmm.... towards the end of my meal, I was beginning to dislike my order due to its soup because I thought it was too powdery! Other than that, I was satisfied with the ingredients that were included

I did! Salted egg + century egg & pork congee. Not the best I've eaten so far but it was not too bad either. Quite flavourful with the amount of century egg inside but not so much of salted egg and pork slices. Shrimp dumpling. Each dumpling had one big and succulent prawn wrapped in it. Tasted a bit bland without pork Seaweed roll; crab stick and pork. So so only.Golden bun!Look at the filling! Leaks out immediately when you break the bun into half. Very creamy and smooth. Custard cream + salted egg = best pau!

Went out for lunch with colleagues at BK nearby our office and I ordered the BK Singles Mushroom Swiss.

Beef patty topped with mushroom sautéed sauce and swiss cheese, yum yum~ The burger looked slightly dry in the picture but when you eat it, it's actually with the mushroom sauce in it. Portion was quite small, maybe the BK Doubles Mushroom Swiss will be more suitable to guys. I do hope they put more mushroom sauce in the burger though.
