Another great place to chill in town for those who love night lives is Tom, Dick & Harry's. It serves all kinds of crispy food to accompany the beers and other alcoholic beverages.We order some deep-fried food stuff to munch on with some drinks. Each crispy ball is very juicy and quite peppery and salty, meaning that it is highly seasoned. I love the way it is fried into golden brown but it is a bit dry for me, and the salty outer coating is too thick. But the drinks are light, and great for a cooling night.

The Ship at Jalan Sultan Ismail has been there for many years, but I rarely visit this area because of the chaotic streets. The workers here are now not so friendly like it used to be, and the service isn't that good anymore.I had some sizzling rib eye, and it is served with corn and vegetables. The portion is rather big for the price I'm paying, but the taste is just so-so.

I feel that the quality has deteriorated, and the sauce is overly salty, with the meat quite stiff. They use the normal black pepper sauce which is quite watery and lacking of the spiced flavour of pepper. For the corn, it is no longer sweet, I guess it is quite old and not so fresh. Would love to try other western outlets else where soon.

TWG Tea is now one of the most famous places in town for its macaroon. This is my first time stepping into the very clean looking restaurant with beautiful details in English style. The ambiance is excellent, but not the tea set. I have a high tea set there. Tried their English tea, and I love their presentation but not the tea. As for the cake, it is very gooey but quite sweet for me. Finally the macaroon is the best which delights me, because it has a melt-in-the-mouth texture and very petite sized. Lightly sweet but flavourful enough. The special thing here is, all of the macarons are infused with aromatic tea flavors which makes them healthier in a way without sweetener. I love Earl Grey, Moroccan Mint, and Roses flavours the most. The tea flavour is quite obvious but not overly heavy. Lovely tea it is!

Wondermilk is a great place to hang out for afternoon tea. Under a bright surrounding, I see people enjoying their coffee and slices of delicious cakes.I didn't dine there, but I bought home a dozen of cupcakes for a birthday celebration. All the cupcakes look very sweet and cute, and I choose lots of chocolate varieties. They are very fresh and soft inside. Those with chocolate topping are great, because the chocolate is quite thick with true choco flavour that is not too sweet after all. I love the light taste for such dessert. However, for the strawberry cupcake, I find it too creamy without distinctive strawberry taste, which is quite disappointing. It tastes more like sugar than strawberry there, although it is not overly sweetened.

Come Buy is another bubble tea kiosk which serves almost 90% identical drinks with Chatime, Ochado and many other competing brands.I tried their 3Q passion blast @ RM5.50 with no sugar, and no ice. Yet iI find it oversweetened for me, probably because of the added passion fruit flavourings. It is a little sour in taste, but very nice to have lots of jelly and pearls to munch on. The pearls look overcooked because it is very soft although chilled in the cold drinks. Except for the part of having high sugar level, I personally feel it is as good as Chatime. Will come back for more varieties.
