Zest OK Aug 09, 2012

Zest cafe is located at the upper level, and it promotes healthy method of cooking in Mediterranean way. I find the choices here quite alot but the price is quite hiked up too.

Pumpkin Soup

The pumpkin soup is slightly thick, simply more savoury with a refreshing sweet taste. The creaminess is best enjoyed with a dip of bread into the warm broth.

Zest Salad

Next comes the signature salad, which is a colorful healthy mixture of grilled vegetables crowned with three succulent pan-fried prawns. The balsamic dressing is quite light yet very appetizing for the palates. The prawns are fresh, but overall the taste is quite bland here, I hope it can be at least lightly sweet.

Naab Business & Dining Centre Smile Aug 09, 2012

Naab Business & Dining Centre at Solaris Mont Kiara has a smaller outlet as compare to the one in KL. It does not serve buffet, but I am very satisfied with the ala carte meal here. Although the menu is not so extensive as compared to other iranian cuisine, I find that the food quality is really good.

The naan here is very thick but with soft texture, best dipped with hummus which is slightly sourish and salty in taste. The staple food of Iranian is just healthy and filling for me.

The meal is never complete without Iranian tea. The red tea is slightly sweet, but I added more sugar in it according to my preference of sweetness. Very light and aromatic.

The Social Smile Aug 09, 2012

The Social serves all kinds of wine, beer and also light bites like sandwiches, salads as well as local cuisine. It is very well-diversified. And I order a plate of sandwich which costs me around RM20++.

The sandwich is served with chips and sweet mustard sauce, which completes the healthy combination. I love the fresh salad which complements well with the cold sandwich. The bread is crunchy on the outside and soft inside, quite fresh. For the meat, it is well-seasoned and the taste of saltiness is just right for me. I will come back for their pasta and burger next round.

Naab Iranian Food Smile Aug 09, 2012

Naab at KL is located along the very chaotic street of Bukit Bintang. Upon entering the restaurant, I'm greeted with calmness and warmth from the waiters. It is a 4 storey outlet, serving ala carte, buffet menu, as well as functions and meetings.

Here are many types of dips and salad. But my favourite is the yoghurt salad, with mild sourish taste.

The kebab comes in many varieties. All are perfectly grilled, and I find the chicken one very flavourful with combination of salty, sweet spices. The lamb is nicely done too. Delicious buffet spread it has there!

Suki-Ya Smile Aug 09, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Steamboat/Hotpot | Group/Family dining

Suki-Ya is famed for its Sukiyaki and Shabu Shabu, meaning that we can eat all we want from the hot pot and the sizzling hot cooking plate. The place is clean and cooling, unlike other steamboats I have tried.

The Japanese soup base is rather light, and healthier in a way that it is full of seaweed. I love putting more corns and vegetables into it to enhance its sweetness.

The sushi there is freshly made, and the taste of vinegar is rather light in the rice. I prefer those with heavier notes.

For the meat, I grill it so that it can turn out heavier in saltiness but overall it is very flavourful when accompanied with some soup too.
