It has been quite some time since i last dropped by at my favourite Korean restaurant. The place is still crowded with families during weekend nights. And I'm delighted to find a new menu in this cosy restaurant. How many korean restaurants actually offer duck BBQ meat? This is my first time trying the sizzling hot duck meat, with Japanese tofu and mushroom. Just take a slice of vegetables, some meat, mushroom and bean curd, and wrap it together, then the dish turns out very flavourful although it is slightly salty for me. The duck meat is very succulent and I love the layers of fat and lean meat. Nice and worth a try!

The special promotion for Ramadhan at Swiss Garden Hotel tempts me because it costs only RM68 per pax for a sumptuous spread of buffet! This time it focuses on Middle Eastern as well as Kampung style of dishes, where I find over 130 types of food there. But something that I would highlight is their dessert! The middle eastern dessert which I have not tried before is on the buffet bar, so I grab some to try. Most of them are crispy, with bursting myriad flavours. The dark-colored doughnut-like dessert is overly sweet for me, then the one next to me is simply light and addictive. They're well presented and tastes great to finish a hearty meal.

In conjunction with the Hari Raya celebration by Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya, I went for their Ramadhan buffet, which is priced at RM 85++ per adult. The buffet spread is really wide that I don't know which to choose! For the starter, I had different types of Kerabu, as well as western cold cuts. Among so many malay hot dishes, this is the best I've tried. I'm totally smitten with the galangal fried chicken, which is deep fried into golden brown perfection with a strong aroma of local herbs. The shredded galangal itself is very flavourful and good to go with some light nasi briyani! The lengkuas itself is very sweet with the herbs flavours.

JS Maju is a typical mamak corner, located at Cyberjaya within the vicinity of many corporate buildings. It serves all kinds of roti canai, thosai, chapati, nasi kandar, western food as well as ice cream cake.My favourite here is Thosai Sardine, because they put a generous amount of sardine onto the thin layer of flour before cooking it. The sardine sticks well onto the thosai, and a dip into the dhal curry is perfect when it is served hot. The thosai is thin and slightly burnt on the edges and soft in the middle. Sweet and chewy enough for my liking.

Fish & Co. is no longer a new icon, but honestly I am a huge supporter of Fish & Co as I find it tastes better than Manhattan Fish Market. Out of so many types of seafood, I have yet to try the salmon at Fish & Co. so this is my motive of dropping by for lunch that day.Teriyaki Salmon @ RM24.95

Forget about the seasonal fish, now Fish & Co. has my favourite fresh salmon fillet as well. For some reason, I love it to be in a Japanese style, with dark sweet teriyaki sauce. Frankly I'm smitten by the grilled salmon fillet drenched in hot teriyaki sauce. Served with a choice of any 2 sides--- Seasonal Vegetables, Rice, Chips Coleslaw or Mashed Potato--- I believe the rice and vegetables can give me an energy boost in this well-balanced meal. The rice is sweet and moist, simply goes well with the salmon steak.
