Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant Smile Aug 09, 2012

I have been to the outlet of Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant at Bandar Puteri, which is noisier than this outlet at Solaris Mont Kiara. I love the tranquility here, with not much crowd during a weekday dinner.

The sizzling hot pan is used to cook my favourite mixture of vegetables and meat. A large amount of kimchi paste is added into it, to enhance the sour and spicy flavours into the dish. I love to have such hot dish with cold Korean rice too.

Coffee Chemistry Signature Smile Aug 03, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Western variety | Café | Steaks / Chops | Noodles

Coffee Chemistry Signature is very famous at First Subang Mall. Their coffee is unique by itself, not comparable with Starbucks or any other coffee specialty shop because the strong taste, freshness and a hint of mildness are different from others.

I have a simple lunch there. My carbonara turns out not so creamy, but the sauce is very smooth and cheesy. I love the meat on it which adds deeper salty flavours to the plate of pasta. The portion is quite huge, and they are generous in putting more meat and vege in it. The noodle itself is slightly sweet, springy and good to add with some pepper to give better taste.

Crispy Fish and Chips Smile Aug 03, 2012

Decanter at Bukit Damansara is rather silent when I went there during a weekday. However, the parking is very ample and I need not to worry bout my car parked outside the restaurant.

Fish and Chips @ RM 18.00

For me, anything deep-fried without too much oil would taste good for me. But this fish fillet is very crispy with the bread crumbs coating, best while served hot. When served with mayonnaise and lemon, it is very flavourful with a right balance of salty, sweet and crunchy tastes.

Serai Cafe Smile Jul 31, 2012

Serai Cafe is pretty much similar to Delicious when it comes to the interior and decoration. It is simple-looking, clean and very comfortable when dining in there.

I have a platter of healthy portobello mushroom salad, and it comes in a huge portion that I have to share with my friend. The vegetables here are very fresh, especially the cherry tomatoes which are so sweet and I love the tomato salad dressing which is light and healthy.

Overall the food is fantastic with very affordable price.

The Loaf - Most Expensive Bread Smile Jul 31, 2012

Categories : Western variety | Sweets/Snack | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

Most of the time, bakeries offer the usual selections of breads but not at The Loaf. Here it is always flocked with huge crowd because of their creativity and freshness in baking. It surprises me with many creative breads, and I am glad to find a such loaf with a very hard texture on the outside.

Campagne Fromage @ RM20.00

This hard bread stuns me with its price tag. I just wonder how can a huge rock like this can cost so much! But with the price I pay, I am satisfied with something worth in return. The bread is stuffed generously with dried fruits and assorted nuts, which make the bread texture so good with crunchiness! Every bite of the bread is filled with healthy nuts and fruits bits which are naturally sweet, and the bread itself is very soft and fluffy after being warmed in the oven for a few minutes. A very hearty breakfast for the family indeed!
