Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant Smile Jul 31, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood | Noodles

My family and I went all the way to Teluk Gong for the fresh, famous meaty crab during the weekend. Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant is very famous among tourists, and I bet they have the best crab in Pork Klang ever.

I enjoy the light eggy batter which well-suffuses into the meaty crab. The crabs are huge in size, and the fresh meat is very juicy and succulent upon each bite. It is naturally sweet, and the sauce isn't too thick. Light enough to go with crabs and some white rice. Delicious!

Pasta at pH Pastry House Smile Jul 31, 2012

pH Pastry House serves as a great cafe to hang out during a lazy evening, and I enjoy the wide selection of pasta there.

I order a plate of carbonara, and I love the noodle which is cooked al dente, still springy and absorbs the cheesy white sauce very well. The creamy sauce is light and salty in a good way, best matched with chunks of bacons which are deep in flavours.

Little Italy Smile Jul 31, 2012
Categories : Italian | Restaurant

Little Italy is a decent cafe offering all kinds of italian food, ranging from pasta to pizza. It is quite popular among the neighbourhood, and serves as a good place to chill among friends.

This traditional oven-baked pizza is one of the bestsellers here, with generous toppings of my favourite mushroom and onions. The tomato flavoured sauce is very thick, and quite sweet for me. The crust itself is very crisply thin, with thick toppings, and I enjoy such simple meal.

At Nippon Yataimura Japanese Restaurant, I am amazed with lots of authentic Japanese cuisine, with very original elements in it, including the cooking methods, presentation styles as well as the taste and flavours. The food is of middle-range price, but the quality is quite good.

Boyfriend and I had a platter of fresh sashimi with prawns and sushi. The salmon slices are cut into thick slices, revealing its sweet juiciness. It may not be the freshest I have tried, but I am satisfied with the generous portion. The prawn is very fresh, and a dip into wasabi is perfect to enhance it with sharp pungent finish.

Curry Fish Head @ Kuchai Lama Smile Jul 31, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Food court | Seafood

Kuchai Lama has a food court which consists of numerous stalls serving various kinds of cuisine including asian favourites, western delights, indian and malay food. This curry fish head is one of the famous food there. In this broth of curry fish head, the ingredients include other seafood such as prawn, squid, veggies, mushroom and tou fu pok. The ingredients are fresh with a very strong curry smell with abundance of sweet coconut milk. It tastes very delicious but not very spicy, just right for me! Best to go with white rice, and the portion is fairly huge for group sharing.
