Tambun is famous with Seafood if your'e not aware of. There are many seafood restaurant at Tambun by the way.But so far I find this seafood restaurant food is quite good among a few that I visited in Tambun. The price is reasonable. Today I dropped by for lunch before visiting my customer, I ordered Sambal Kankung (RM5) , Stir Fried Sea Shell in Sweet and Sour sauce (RM10), Steam Mantis with Egg and glass noodle (RM12 per piece) and 4 Fried Man Tau(RM0.50 per piece). Wow, it's really tasty eventhough I havent visited them for sometimes and the tast havent changed much except the Sambal Kangkung where it used to be very good. It's really "heaven" when you dipped the Man tau into the sweet and sour sauce.. peow... smile They offer other dishes like Steam Octopus with special dipping, Sweet and Sour Crab, Curry Prawn and etc.

Mizi's food, I can summarize in 3 words "Peng"(In cantonese means cheap), "Leng" (In can
tonese means beautiful), "Zheng" (In cantonese means nice). To be exact, if you're from Penang and travel a little, you should know our Penang food's portion is so small even some of the restaurant you went, you may be paying quite a bit, but still the portion doesnt match the price you pay. But in Mizi, you get what you paid for and the portion will surprise you. This restaurant is a place for cozy family gathering, or simply just a meet up for food with buddies. Withine the last 3 months to date, I have visited this place for 5 times and the service and food has not dissapointed me. If you're looking for value for money and a reasonable taste and service, you shouldnt miss this place. They serve set lunch and dinner at RM25 ++ per person, you can choose from their menu if not, you can also order ala carte.

Whether you're from Penang or not from Penang, as a Nyonya myself, I can endorsed that this nyonya restaurant serve the best by far the most authentic nyonya dishes. Some of the dishes they served are the "Tau Eu Bak", "Hong Bak" , "Perut Ikan", "Sambal Udang", "Otak-Otak".. and many more. Why I said it's good it's because the taste is "heavy" and the ingredients is thick enough. Some of the dishes served in other restaurant is very diluted and watery in the tast. If you're bringing friends from outstation, you should bring them here for a taste of the authentic ones. The Penang Nyonya food taste a bit different from the Melaka one as we have some influences from Thai where we uses alot of spices such as Kafir leaves which is one of the important ingrediants in Thai cuisine. Dont see my review alone, just try it, you will love it. BTW, you better make reservation if you have a big group since the restaurance space is not big.
