Not worth the penny :( Cry May 03, 2013

Categories : Taiwanese | Restaurant | Steamboat/Hotpot | Noodles

My friend and I have no idea what to eat in KLCC. Both of us never dine here before therefore decided to give it a try.

We had ordered Milk Tea in French Style. It has a weird taste. Not many people can accept the taste. Not only that, it is not cheap as it costs us about RM16 for 2 glasses.

The foods served are just like the ordinary Taiwanese foods that can find elsewhere with a reasonable price. Here, it is consider pricey or over value for me.

The Taiwanese Style Oyster with egg was disappointing us. The Oyster is tasteless. Still, I more prefer Oyster Egg in Penang.

3 cups chicken with rice comes with a small bowl of rice, soup, side dishes and of cos the chicken. They really gave a lots of meat. I finished the rice but still have the chicken left. lol For the chicken taste, i only can say so so only. It don't have much aroma that makes me craving for more.

We also tried their Sweet Potato Ball. I think the normal stall out there is better than here. The ball is small and doesn't have much taste of the sweet potato.

In short, I will never want to revisit this restaurant again because it is really not worth the money we pay. sad

Fruit buffet Cry Jun 13, 2012

Drive straight to SS2 just for my durian buffet dinner. tongue

The man helps us to open the durian. At first he just opens 2 durians for us. He will only open new durian after we finish the one on the table.

Some of the durians are fresh but some are not. Few of the durians are watery. Most of the durians are sweet taste. If you are hunt for bittersweet durian, hardly have it here, unless you wish to buy the good type of durian. They are also selling the durian and charge it per kg price.

He mostly opens the small durian where there are only 2-3 seed inside. Then I need to ask him open again and again.

Durian buffet just can give me the quantity but not quality.sad

Categories : Korean | Restaurant | Noodles

Goon Man Du, RM 9.50
Pan fried homemade chicken dumpling consider nice among the foods we ordered. There is vegetable inside the dumpling. Not greasy. Similar like the Taiwanese pan fried dumpling.

Bi bim bab, RM 16.90
My friend ordered this. The rice looks delicious comes in big portion. There are so many varieties of vegetable inside. The rice is very Q.

Kim chi Bokem Bab, RM 14.90
For this Kim chi fried rice, I think I cook better than them. The Kim chi was so sour. The fried rice is tasteless. Aftertaste is just the sour taste of the Kim chi.

Su jae bi, RM 13.50
I selected Korean style pan mee with seafood. The soup taste so weird. I more prefer if can have this pan mee with Kim chi soup.

All foods are comes together with 3 side dishes; anchovies, bean sprout and Kim chi. I like the anchovy, its taste a bit sweet.

Sik hye, RM 3.80
sad not nice the rice water.

I ordered aloe vera juice-RM 3.80. This is just the same as what I normally bought from the Korean shop (in green bottle).

It’s doesn’t full at all Cry May 22, 2012

Categories : Western variety | Café | Pizza/Pasta | Steaks / Chops

The book (menu) is thick, but the menu inside is so limited and some stated “not available”. sad
Insides, there are not only menu but also some of the fashion news, and comic. You may spend some time on it.

There is some set lunch with reasonable prices, but unfortunately we there for dinner. So can’t enjoy the promotion.

Not much customers when the time we dine. But this doesn’t match to their café’s name-full house. Maybe it is not a strategic place which located at the corner of Wangsa Walk Mall, far from the crowd.

Jasmine green tea with aloe vera. This was disappointed me. Tasteless! The aloe vera was too soft.

The iced lemon tea was too sour and can’t taste the tea!

Grilled mix seafood, RM26.90
Chef use orange to cook the sauce. The seafood is quite fresh here. It has a good food presentation.

Chicken chop, RM16.90
The chicken chop gravy is not delicious, can’t taste the black pepper. But this was the best among our foods. Luckily most of us ordered this.

Chicken parcel, RM22.90

Vongole Spaghetti, RM16.90
It is spicy and I don’t think it is delicious too. The best thing is just there are lots of clams.

Spending per head: Approximately RM27(晚餐)

Sugar is cheap! Cry May 02, 2012

Categories : Taiwanese | Stall / Warung | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

When we pass thru Gong Cha, there is always a long queue of people. Wondering why this beverage is in high demand……..

I had tried it twice, but still not taken to it. This was introduced by my sis. One day, she bought me her favorite beverage from Gong Cha- MelonT & whiteP. It was too sweet for me. For the white pearl, Okay la…..,

it is special compared to the normal bubble available in the market and it’s chewy. That’s was my first time trying Gong Cha.

For my second try, just recently, I ordered “Plum Green Tea” with 30% sugar less ice and added white pearl. First impression that came to my mind was, “oh my god! I just ordered 30% sugar, already so sweet!” Sugar is cheap I guess!

In terms of pricing, it is not cheap as for the Plum Green Tea that I ordered, costs me RM6.40. I just go because of curiosity not because the taste!

Spending per head: Approximately RM7(下午茶)
