One of the signature dish - Big Head Prawn with Glass Noodle 冬粉虾 @ RM56.00 (2 prawns)
It's still boiling hard when served in a big hot pot The soup is kind of yellowish like the prawn egg melted in the soup. Feel so warm and oomph with energy once tasted the soup. The taste is so fantastic and its so sweet and strong aroma of the prawn. They also added chinese wine in it. My face turn red after finishing 3 bowls of the soup and glass noodle!!

The prawns are cut into both sides. The meats are nicely cook that its so fresh and bouncy. This is really the best of the night.

A must to order when visiting Restoran Leong Chee Hoong !!

Restoran Leong Chee Hoong is famous on serving River Fish. There are almost 15 kinds of river fish available (some are seasonal and rare).

Steamed River Fish - 白须公 @ RM54.00
This is normal steamed with black soy sauce and some roster garlic and spring onions on top. The fish meat is so smooth and fresh. NO fish sting smell or river smell at all. Perfect especially dipped with the black soy sauce, this dish is really great. We ate each and every part of the fish even the head and left with only bones.

Leong Chee Hoong restaurant is famous of river fish. We order this steam red talapia with special sauce. The fish is quite big but the meat is not hard at all. The fish is very smooth and serve nice with the sauce. I don't know what is the sauce name but is normally called 酱蒸. It bring a little spiciness and mixed with some chinese bean sauce. It is very flavourful and makes me finish my whole bowl of white rice.

Stir Fried WaterCress Vege Smile Jul 09, 2012

Today we went to Bentong for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. Restoran Leong Chee Hoong is one of a restaurant located at the foot of the hill (bukit tinggi) where most of the seafood restaurants gathered. It is near to the market street and Police Station.

Fried watercress with garlic @ RM8.00
There are several kinds of vegetables available. I picked the Watercress because i din't try on Fried Watercress before. It's very crunchy and fresh despite the minced garlic, i still love it. I personally don't eat garlic, but the fragrance of the vege is good enough to cover up the taste, i just need to pick out the garlic, avoid eating it.

Crispy Pork Meat Smile Jul 09, 2012   (Related Review)

Pork Meat 花肉 @ RM18.00
We don't know what is the dish call. We only order pork meat and they cook this out. The pork meat is cooked so crisply. The sauce is fragrance in taste just like marmite. Friend mention that it will be best if served with beer !! mad At last we enjoy it with rice because it's salty if just eating it alone.
* by the way, beers do available in the restaurant *

The price is reasonable for all the fresh seafood and food. We paid the bill for 4 dishes at RM139.00 for 4 pax including a pot of tea.

The restaurant is opened air and without air-conditional. We are all sweating while eating especially when enjoying the prawn grass noodle pot. Besides, patience is important while waiting for the food. Heard that they only have one chef in the kitchen. Luckily we just waited less than 30mins. There are several vegetables stalls along the street. May go out to buy some fresh vege while waiting.
