Mochaccino & Sandwich OK Aug 01, 2012   (Related Review)

The cafe is operate by a young man who is the barista too. The environment is cozy and comfortable. There are sofas corner which is a nice place to relax.

Mochaccino @ RM11.90
Different between mocha and mochaccino is that Mochaccino will have more foam than mocha. Yes 2 inch of foam on top. The portion is huge for a tall size. Taste wise, it is actually quite mild of both choco and coffee. For me, i prefer a stronger and thicker taste.

Turkey Cheddar Sandwich @ RM7.90
You can choose to have it heat up or not. Comes with wholemeal bread, turkey ham, 2 slices of cheddar cheese and lettuce. It taste good and the combination of turkey ham and cheddar is delicious. However, i find it quite dry. Luckily i have the mochaccino with me.

Chicken Pie @ RM7.90
The chicken pie was heated and served hot to me. The pastry on top is super duper crispy. Everything turn a mess when I start cutting my pie. Despite the ugly situation, the pastry really taste crunchy and delicious with the strong buttery taste. Inside is stuff with minced gravy and just one or two chicken dice. It's like thick campbell soup base in it. Taste soft but acceptable. Overall the pie is nice.

All day breakfast set Smile Aug 01, 2012

Walking around the new Gurney Paragon Mall and saw this Paciffic Coffee Company having this all-day breakfast set promotion. There are 4 choices of set meals from RM9.90 including a fresh brewed coffee. Topped up RM2.00 to exchange for a Latte or Cappuccino.

Breakfast Set @ RM9.90 + RM2.00 (upgrade)
It comes with a Tomato Strudel and I upgrade to Cappuccino. This is my first time drinking pacific coffee and i was stunned with the thick foam on top of the cup but did not overflow. The foam is quite thick and taste with a mild coffee aroma. The cappuccino is quite nice and i can really taste the light bitterness without adding sugar. The Tomato Strudel is a pastry topped with lots of brown sesame and stuffed with dry tomato paste. The paste is very sourish and tasty while the strudel pastry is very crunchy. It's addictive eating it.

113 Lebuh Melayu Duck Meat Koay Teow Soup used to be just a hawker stall in the corner coffee shop few steps away. After so many years, they are now operating in a shop just by their own. They only serve certain food at certain time session as below:

Morning 6.30am - 12.00pm : Duck meat koay trow soup only
Lunch 11.30am - 3.00pm : Duck porridge/ duck rice/ koay chiap
Close on Sunday for lunch session only.

Duck Meat Koay Teow Soup @ RM2.80 (small)
This bowl of koay teow soup just looks so tasty. It comes with many slices of duck meat, parsley and fried garlic. The duck meat is super tender and sweet of duck taste. The koay teow is very smooth too. Not to forget the delicious soup which is boiled with the ducks is sweet with duck taste. This bowl of koay teow is just worth more than the price.

ABC ice kacang Smile Jul 31, 2012
Categories : Indian | Food court

This is a drink stall selling ice kacang, chendul, soya milk, leong fun, sugar cane etc. I won't missed their ice kacang whenever I come to Batu Lancang Market food court.

A big bowl of shaved ice topped with huge and normal red beans, sweet corn paste, grass jelly, ''atapchi'' and showered with condensed milk, pink syrup and my favourite Sarsi flavoured syrup. Honestly I love their ice kacang majority due to the Sarsi syrup. Besides, the red beans and corns are extremely fresh and sweet too. Very cooling bowl of dessert that satisfy me after accompanied mum to the wet market next door.
