Shogayaki Gohan Smile Sep 30, 2013

Shogayaki Gohan @ RM8.00
I find this restaurant very unique. All the decorations are about samurais, the chef also shouted like fighting when they prepare the food.
This shogayaki is actually sliced pork meat. The meat is so much and were topped up like a hill. It's not easy to start to scoop the first mouth, as the meat will start to drop. The porky is very tender and each piece is very flavourful. Though a bit salty, can be neutralised with the white rice.

Macau Fried Chicken Wings @ RM9.90
I think the restaurant is located at the busiest road of Dataran Sunway. It is very hard to find a car park here.
I bought the chicken wings and quickly drive away as i just double park outside. The ala carte chicken wings comes with 5 pieces. The wings are just at normal size, not very meaty. It is very crispy and flavourful, i tasted garlic while eating. The inner meat is a bit hard probably over fried. Overall taste great to eat for tea time.

Sawdust Cake @ RM5.50
Tai Lei Loi Kei has been here at Kota Damansara for some time, heard the name and I always wonder what is sawdust cake about. I think this is the first dessert ever appear in Malaysia.
It was actually made of cream and milk and layered by biscuit fine crumbs. The biscuit actually taste good and the ''cake'' texture is just like milk ice cream. It mix well with the crumbs, very delicious. I love it so much but is quite fattening knowing about the ingredients. oops

Hawaiian Chicken Chop @ RM15.90
This is the classic chicken chop charbroiled and served with grilled pineapple on top and layered on a pile of mash potato. It comes with their homemade barbeque sauce and 2 sides: salad and coleslaw.
The chicken is the boneless thigh portion, it is tender and serve well with the sweet pineapple. Love the mashed potato with bbq sauce too. Their coleslaw is quite unique that is purple in colour, pre-mix well with their dressing.

Twin Footlong Sausage Smile Sep 29, 2013   (Related Review)

Twin Footlong Sausage @ RM17.90
This portion is quite big with 2 foot long sausage. Luckily the sausage is the normal thin size instead of the big fat ones. They are topped with tomato salsa sauce and dipped in with black pepper sauce. The sauce is sweet and some spice of pepper. The sausage is I like the mashed potato that is quite fine and serve well with the black pepper sauce. There are fresh lettuce salad and coleslaw for the sides too.
