Mee Siam Cry Jul 08, 2012   (Related Review)

I have no idea why mee siam will don't out to be mee hoon. It comes with some dry bead curd, bean sprout, and half hard boil egg.
The sauce actually taste weird. It is not the ordinary mee siam that we eat elsewhere. The gravy is very thick and taste something like the chinese beans sauce (豆瓣酱). Its getting sweeter and sweeter while i eat. Don't enjoy it at all.

Laksa Mee Cry Jul 08, 2012   (Related Review)

Laksa Mee @ RM6.80
This is one of their signature dish. I order this because of the nice photo on their menu. It looks nice delicious too when served. But i will say the laksa soup is almost tasteless despite the chili oil on top. I actually added some black soy sauce found on the table (for the half boil egg), but still can't help. The prawns are very soft not fresh at all. Just the fish paste taste normal. I wonder is it they left out some ingredients in the laksa gravy today. sad

Kopi Cry Jul 08, 2012
Categories : Malaysian variety | Café | Burgers / Sandwiches | Noodles

Shopping at One Utama shopping mall that day and saw this Toast Box kiosk at 2nd floor. We decided to stop by for a tea break thought that it might be good since almost 80% of their tables are full with customers. Besides the roti toast and coffee, they also serve the local nasi lemak, mee siam, asam laksa etc.

We order a hot Kopi @ RM2.60 and a Teh tarik ice @ RM2.90
The kopi turns out very bitter, even 2 packets of sugar. Don't want to put more because is not good for health. The teh tarik is quite diluted. Just a bit of teh aroma only. Very disappointed with the drinks here despite their nice concept of the kiosk.

Lunch @ Jombali Cry Jul 08, 2012
Categories : Malaysian variety | Café | Desserts

Jombali is located at Subang Jaya Carrefour. They are serving the local cuisine and there are set lunches too. The food serve very slow and they are like lack of staff because it is hard to call them. They are always very busy.

Ginger Barley with Honey. It taste sweet and interesting with the ginger taste.

Sambal spaghetti with chicken. Its a mix of malay and western style. The spaghetti is fried with sambal paste, tasted sour and spicy. The chicken is disappointed because its not tender and tasteless.

Geylang Porridge Cry Jul 06, 2012   (Related Review)
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Porridge

This Geylang Lor is located at the same row with SS2 McDonald. Its air-conditioned inside. There are also 2 tables outside for smokers.

The White Porridge
Price range from RM3 (small), RM4 (medium), RM5 (large)

Geylang plain porridge is minced and can hardly feel the ''seedly'' of rice. Its so smooth and sticky. Top with the spring onions makes the taste more fragrance. I don't like the porridge was ''ajinomoto''ed because it is already salty by just eating it plain. So after mixing with the gravy of fresh frog pot, its double salty sad !! This makes me hardly enjoy the porridge with the sauce.

Spending per head: Approximately RM4
