I find that the bento set at this Japanese restaurant is value for money. It has variety in one bento set and fills up your tummy. For small eater, highly recommended to share it.

I ordered "Toru Shogayaki" set (RM26.90). Although sliced chicken were not available, but requested beef for replacement can be done. Each bento set comes with soup and steam eggs.

Defiatly value for money.

Do expect for long waiting time during the weekends. Best to go early. Restaurent closed on Tuesday.

Little Collins Bakery & Florist OK Jun 29, 2012

Went to Little Collins for brunch when we discover that they served all day breakfast.

The place is actually a florist, bakery and a cafe. Very comfy place, and an unpretentious place to hang out.

Ordered their "Big Breakfast". You have the choice of whole meal, wheat or normal white bread. Reasonable portion. I find it to be okay although the eggs can be quite bland.

Will return to try out others.

This restaurant is located on the top floor at a corner lot. The ambience here is cozy and spacious. There have quite a number of set lunch and dinner at this restaurant. Each visit to this restaurant I will order "Tory Teriyaki & Hand Roll Set" (RM22.90). This set comes with grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce, rice, soup, salad , pickles, steamed eggs & mix fruits. As I was not keen on the steamed eggs, I requested to change it to tofu. What I like about this set because the meat were tender. Highly recommended to try this set. However, this set is only available for dinner only.

Lunch at Secret recipe OK Jun 27, 2012

Was at amcorp mall the other day and decided to have lunch at Secret recipe. Saw that there was a lunch set promotion (RM16) which comes with one iced lemon tea. You have the choice of curry mee, grilled black pepper chicken or thai seafood spaghetti. As I was starving at the time, I ordered the rice set instead.

Grilled black pepper chicken with ice lemon tea. Chicken meat was tender, but find the gravy was a bit too thick. If it was not for the gravy, I think this dish would be dissapointed. As you can see from the picture, the dish looks quite plain.

Had passed by this restaurant several times and decided to try it out last weekend.

My friend ordered Bulgogi Juk Sik (RM16.90) which is actually the beef bulgogi set that comes with rice, soup, 3 small side dishes ( kimchi, tofu and anchovies) and fresh fruits. My friend commented that the beef was tender, which were served in a reasonable portion.

I ordered Dolsot Pipimpab (RM15.90), which was served in a hot claypot. It was filled with lots of fresh vegetables which were cut into long thin strips, crab sticks, 1 egg and a choice of beef/chicken.

Each meal comes with a bowl of clear soup, with some seaweed, although simple but tasty lol
