Pastel, a little cafe in a Setiawangsa shop-house.Tacos are also a speciality at Pastel, filled with lamb or beef for RM18 per plate of two.'Texas Burger' with hand-pressed beef patty (RM16); the tacos & burgers come with fries. Perhaps not memorable enough to specifically travel to Setiawangsa for, but probably worthwhile for folks who live or work here.

Woohoo!!!! I am a year older ANDDDDD wiser! No..... I am still young and i love my life. Recently, Angel and the new guest of honor to this blog, Jol celebrated my birthday in a Korean restaurant called Daoroe Korean BBQ Restaurant. It was my choice of food and I hinted to them weeks back that I had that once and I love it. Guess the hint get obvious and they love me...
First time eating such a nice vegetables. The asparagus is fresh and the cashew nut is crunchy. Both are perfect match. Seaweed is added and a sweet chicken stock is used for the cooking. It also comprise of green pea and carrot slices. It is not only decorated nicely but it has a colourful combination which increase our appetite.
For 9.90, you get chicken, rice, potatoes, egg and amazing pickled vegetables. The chicken was a little dry, but it paired very well with the vegetables. I think it will be much nicer if the chicken is more moist, and the potatoes are softer. I like how that it was not salty, hence it's healthier, and with free delivery, it's one economical and (almost) complete meal.
